Do you know vaguely what the criteria are for Xenical?

Dont quote me on this but I think you must have a BMI of over 29 or 27 if you are diabetic. High blood pressure. Your DR should weigh you beforehand to register your weight , then you go back after 4 weeks. You need to have lost 5lbs in 4 weeks before you even get the Xenical. Then to stay on it you need to lose a minimum 5lbs per month. Some DRs will be more relaxed about this aslong as it is not a regular thing or it was a one off such as birthday, holiday ect. Best thing to do is go see your GP and ask.

New Slimming World class has opened locally that I may be able to get to. Please can one of you fans tell me about it: costs, what happens in a class etc.

Sorry, can't help you here ... never been to a class, just do it from home with the help of the S/World books which I've borrowed from my neighbour (who "borrowed" them from a friend ::)).

I'm sure someone else will be able to help you though.  Good luck!

    hi

i did the slimming world diet and its good for shedding the first few stones, but then i did stabilise at a certain weight, but at that point they expect you to eat less things to give u a kick start.

the website is https://www.slimming-world.com this will give u loads of info. i think i paid 3.75 a week, but this was 2 years ago, so may be more now. but yes its an easy diet that give results if you do it.

ive just started a rosemary conley class, cause of the need to do more exercise, but in a few weeks if i cant get on with it, i will certainly be going back to slimming world, the groups are great for support if you need it!!

i did a nell mcandrew ultimate challenge video last night, omg my knees hurt!!!

    any way good luck!!!

Went to Slimming World last night and put on 1 pound - it seems the average gain this week was 4 pounds and one woman yelped that she had gained 10 pounds so I did not feel too bad at just gaining one pound.

The group I go to is really freindly, no discussion of actual weight in others hearing and no humiliation - just support and help. A bit like MSE :):)

Yep, I'm a proud happy male.. of 17 years of age.. I was recently a computer mega-nerd. Hardly ever moved from the computer. It was pretty bad, got myself upto a nice weight of 23stone thats 322 pound or 146 kg..

Yep, it wasnt doing me anygood. Didnt help with getting the ladies either, had more chins than a high powered chinning machine :)

So I used my knowledge of fitness training and such and went on not a diet, but a "Healthy eating plan" :P

And I shed those pounds.. Also went to the gym and started bodybuilding.

Probably not the smartest idea as I wanted to loose weight not put it back on with weightlifting. But it seemed to work pretty well for me.

I even documented my weight loss with pictures and measurements and wrote down the foods I ate.

A sneak preview for ya, the last picture was a few months ago.. Will update it when I finish my review of it.

    Peace!
    Nice to save.
