Please reassure me that my colleague who's even more of a chocoholic than me won't try to lick it off! :P :o ???
And doesn't the smell make you crave the real thing even more?
This has just reminded me when I was trying to lose weight a good few years ago (although I didn't really need to then ::)), I sent off for some "scented" pens. Each one smelt of something different ... strawberries, chocolate, mint, etc. The idea was that, everytime you had a craving, you'd sniff one of the pens and the longing to actuallly eat the substance would go away. ;D
Needless to say they didn't work ::) I got some very funny looks at work from some of my colleagues (probably thought I was into glue sniffing. ;D).Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -
Works for me .... puts me right off ;D

I shall have to give it a try then. Was at a bodyshop party not long ago, and didn't much fancy smelling of chocolate, or peppermint, or hemp. I'm fruity-girl, me!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Another helpful titbit of info from the freebie commuter paper: apparently some people get a lot of benefit from regular exercise - they lose weight, they feel better, etc etc etc - and some people don't. In fact some people actually feel worse and don't lose any weight at all. You won't know which sort of person you are until you've tried it - and we're talking regular extended exercise, not a five minute stroll on the flat - but if you don't lose weight from regular exercise then overhauling your diet may be what you need.
I still say do both - ie eat less and move more - but in moderation!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Personally, I find regular excercise doesn't seem to help with my weight much, but it can only do you good and, ultimately, help to increase your life-span through all the benefits, so it has to be encouraged.Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -
Well, it's been a sh*t week what with one thing and another and the end result - I've lost absolutely nothing!

For the first time in many weeks, I've not lost anything this week ... I blame my neighbour, who invited me over for mince-pies and mulled wine last week. ::)
Not too disappointed though. With the run-up to Christmas, I'm quite happy just not to put on for a while, though it'd be great to lose another couple of pounds before the big day, so will aim for that.Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -
