Can I join you all? I've just had my second week back at Slimming World, and am pleased to say I lost 3.5lbs in my first week - not so pleased to say that I still have 16lbs to go to my 10% weight loss mark though!

No well done to me this week I'm afraid. I stayed the same. One problem I have is that my husband decided to lose weight as well, but he decided to do a different from me, and he has a jar of almonds that he can eat when ever he wants, and I keep nibbling on my husbands nuts. There is no chocolate in the house, I only buy crisps I don't like, but these nuts keep calling me.

I did a nice meal last night, I bought some soya mince (it was much cheaper than quorn) and made some bolognaise sauce with that, chopped onions, leaks, mushrooms and a couple of tins of chopped tomatoes, and we had it with wholemeal spaghetti. Dh and oldest son had it as well, and they both enjoyed it.

Tonight I am planning quorn fillets in barbecue sauce (from slimming world saucy secrets book) with dry fried chips, peas and sweetcorn.

Planning will be the secret to my success.

  • After staying the same last week, it's 2lb off this week! Only 2 more lbs to go until I hit my first stone off!

We went to TGi's last night and I could only eat a 1/3rd of my meal. I'd been looking forward to it all day and felt yuk having had it - ohwell, I hope that experience puts me off going out again for a while

I just got back from SW, my class is on Wednesday evening. I didn't do very well at all this week, put a half on:o but so did a couple of others who felt they had been pretty good too.

So this week I have to work extra hard to lose that plus a bit more for my 10%.

Still motivated, well done to everyone who has lost and keep going to everyone:D

I noticed some of you made reference to your body fat and I was wondering how you were measuring it. Is it with Tanita scales, if so which model?

  • Reporting for duty - the Friday weigh-in. Lost 2lb this week, hubby lost 1lb. Makes us 10st 13lb and 13st 4lb respectively. That makes us both our pre-Christmas weight at last!!!! Phew!

I promised that when I got under 11st I'd colour my hair and start wearing some green jeans I bought in the January sales, so I'm really chuffed now!

Well done to everybody on your efforts. I only post here once a week but I do follow and catch up on the threads :T :T :T

Can I ask a really personal question? Does anybody else find they, ahem, go to 'number 2' less when they are on a diet?!!!! :o Just wondered if it's normal!!!

It depends on what you are eating, if you are eating 5 lots of fruit and vegetables and drinking 8 glasses of water you probably should be going more..

Well done on the weight loss this week, how do the jeans feel?:D
