Well done nearlyrich and alfie tinker on your super duper weight loss.
Chugalug, don't be downhearted, i'd put a pound on last week as well and i haven't been beating myself up about it. I've stuck my pedometer on again this week, although it's been rather low most days (2-3000)
I was watching diet doctors last night, and they were saying 2000 steps is equivalent to 15 minutes of activity. I know now (probably always have really) that this is where i need to improve. I've not had a good week so far due to one thing or another, so i'm going to start anew on Saturday morning ready for Mondays weigh in.
I know i won't hit 10,000 steps as i am at home all day, off on the sick with fatigue and voice problems. I'm not doing much apart from sitting around feeling sorry for myself. However - i'm going to try to hit 4000 a day for the rest of this week, and then 4500 next week, and try and build it up.
Good luck everyone - keep saying how you are doing as it is motivating.

but how could I put on 1/2 lb in 1/2 hour?!!
You couldn't have.
Are you weighing yourself on carpet?
Without knowing the details I'd say the most likely reason is a surface that isn't flat.0 -

On floorboards - always in the same placeI guess they may not be exactly level but I've never notice the scales wobbling.
Mind you, I'd left the scales out and hubby weighed himself and then went to put the scales away. I told him not to as I wanted to show him my weight loss so he put them down again. I guess the floor may be slightly uneven and he put them in a slightly different position. When I told him they were now saying 1lb heavier, he then weighed himself (2 mintues later) and they were registering 1lb heavier for him too.
I daren't weigh myself tomorrow morning though as I only weigh once a week to avoid fluctuations.
I think I'll put them downstairs and leave them there so they can't be moved, instead of getting them out all the time.
I'm still happy if it's 11st 1lb though. Next week I may be under 11st and then I'll be over the moon!New year, no debt! Debt free date - 02/01/07 :j :j :j0 -
i ve found i can weigh myself an hour apart and weigh different, for the same reason i only weigh myself once, once a week. and always at same time of day, cos i always weigh upto 2lb heavier in an evening than in the morning. no idea why, but your not alone!!!!£2 saver club 30th sept 198 £2 coins = £396(£350 banked)0

Yeah the stickers are on the book, I have 2 slimmer of the week now, last time was the week after new year when I was the only one who had lost in both weeks.

Ted_Hutchinson wrote:It's at the top of the page when you click the quidco link. It's just a little yellow box on the top left of the page once it's in you order and then find it's docked the £2 off at the end.
It's by the red post and packing free sticker.Unless it only appears once I confirm the order, which I'm loathe to do.
I've tried phoning Customer Services, but they've closed. Any more helpful suggestions? Or has the deadline expired or something useful like that?
I mean, even without the £2 off it's a bargain, but if I'm not going to get £2 off I won't order over £10 worth just yet!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I've been reading this thread for a long time and you all seem so supportive so I've decided that it's crunch time. I've been messing around going up and down for years -trying every slimming club under the sun. I've tried to post on here before but then joined another online slimming club.I've wasted so much money over the years:mad: : . Now I think I've got to get a grip once and for all. So I'm going to post on here once a week. My start weight is 10stone 10 pounds and I want to get down to 9 stone 12 pounds.
Thanks for listening to me.0 -
