Lotta, I don't know why you aren't getting things done, not as if you have much going on in your house is it?!!! Lots of big families at our school, (Catholic!) really nice.
I have been good today, but now I'm starving - wanted to reach for biscuits and rubbish when I got in a while ago, but instead I ate 2 apricots and an apple and decided to come on here and bore you lot instead. Off to do dinner in a minute, nice home made curry (turkey). The butcher gave me a load of turkey legs.0 -

I think this is an excellent idea it will really spur people on when they see how successful we are :j
What day shall we use as our 'weigh day'? We could use Fridays? Just because if youve been a little naughty at the weekend you can get back on track during the week before been weighed and also if you do tend to have treats at the weekend, if you havent done as well as you had hoped on weigh day you may not be tempted or if youve done REALLY well you will be inspired not to ruin your good work. Does this make sense to anyone LOL
But then any day is good for meIm easy

Oh my house is an oasis of peace and calm don't you know!:snow_laug
Now if I could only walk past the computer without hitting refresh I might get more done - I blame MSE!

Ok that's 12 things we're not allowed to eat or do.......what can we do?
She managed to put me off loads of food but she didn't give me a clue what I am allowed to eat.............I suppose that's cos she wants me to buy her book - one way of losing pounds!
I'll never eat a hotdog again :spam:0 -
Hi there, I have been following this thread, and I posted my intention to lose weight a few days ago. I notice a lot of people follow the SW plan. I tried SW, years ago, and I didn't lose any weight, I was clearly not ready to lose weight at that time. I have also tried Weight Watchers, I had some success on one occasion, but not on the other two occasions that I was a member.
I am now hoping to lose weight by eating sensibly and exercising at least three days a week.
I think the idea of a weekly weigh-in is a great idea, and would love to be a part of it. I also think that Friday would be a good day.0 -
I don't eat most of the stuff she banned, I don't add sugar to anything, we only buy it when my 87 year old FIL comes to stay ( he went through 2lb in the five days he was here over Christmas:eek: ) and he is not overweight!
I don't fry stuff, don't drink fizzy drinks, I hate donuts and white bread..
it must be the alcohol LOL0 -

Me too - I haven't weighed myself as my weigh day is Friday but I feel I must have put some on. I'm weaning myself back this week by finishing off the 'bad' food we've got, but in a healthy way. Eg, we've got cheese so we'll have cheese salad instead of cheese sandwhiches. Then planning to start in earnest again next week.
Good luck!New year, no debt! Debt free date - 02/01/07 :j :j :j0
