Someone said that to me and OH when we were viewing a house once. How we kept our faces straight for the rest of the tour I'll never know but we got in the car and both burst out laughing.

I've no idea what happened. I knew what it was called, I knew that it absolutely wasn't a dildo rail. I think the in-laws confused my brain. :rotfl:

Just wondered if anyone else has something that 'haunts' them,

I very quickly regretted saying 'I do'

At the time I didn't think I would ever feel that way. Sad how life and those who are part of it can surprise you.

I have also regretted walking away from huge opportunities because at the time I didn't feel I could do them justice. With age comes confidence and wisdom.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

I think what made ours worse is it was in the bedroom and she said something to the effect of "and there's a nice dildo rail in the bedroom". I had visions of her opening the door and finding racks of rabbits hanging from the dado or something

A guy in my office was always saying stupid things. He came back from the Doctors one day saying the receptionist had laughed at him when he went up to the counter and said "I have an appointment with Dr Locum at 4.20"

A locum Doctor is a stand in for a Doctor who is away. It is not their actual name.
