Advice Please On A Possible Ebay Problem

I paid £1.90 each in 2 separate auctions so i think i am able to dictate regarding the envelopes and postage!
I chose to pay twice so why should i get less than what i paid for?
Has nobody any principles left no matter how small/petty the cost is?
When you sent your payment did you specify that you wanted the 2 CDs sent separately? If not then he acted perfectly correctly in sending them in the quickest and safest way. You acknowledged that you are happy to have received good service.
Unless a buyer actually asks for things to be sent in separate packets (which has never happened to me) I always send multiple items together because the chances of part of the order being lost are less, even if (as another poster has pointed out) it makes it more expensive by moving it up into the next postage band.
I have to say you sound as if you are being unnecessarliy pedantic and nit picking and I do hope I don't get too many buyers with your attitude!
Maybe you should take up a hobby?Oh dear, here we go again.0 -

Maybe you should take up a hobby?
First off i made 2 separate Paypal payments so why should i asked the seller for 2 separate lots of packaging?
If i buy 1, 2, 5 or 10 different (and not even the same piece of software) from a buyer in 1, 2, 5 or 10 different auction and pay 1, 2, 5 or 10 P&P's then i expect 1, 2, 5 or 10 deliveries!
The question to sellers is what would of happened if i'd wanted 2 envelopes so i could have gently opened them to see which piece of software was what then resealed with selotape, put a new address sticker on, got the old stamp off and put a new one on to send to 2 different people? The answer is it would have cost me for another envelope when i'd already paid the seller to send like that.
I can understand sellers trying to help but there are some occasions when buyers have a reason for doing things. Sellers say buyers should ask questions beforehand well if i pay 2 P&P's thats what i expect and if a seller wants to send in 1 envelope even though i've paid 2 P&P's then he should ask me first before he does that. Also dont forget by paying 2 P&P's i've paid for that 2nd envelope!Always looking for a bargain and to help0 -
..The question to sellers is what would of happened if i'd wanted!
Nothing would “of” happened.
What probably would “have” happened is that you would have launched a law suit against the poor seller who would have had my utmost sympathy.
Pete, you really need to get a life, or at least a hobby.

Its always the 'poor sellers'!
Problem is you expect everything to be for the seller but infact i havent got what i paid for pure and simple.
I have a life thank you and if you have nothing constructive to say then please refrain from posting.
Now im not even gonna bother with this thread anymore because it appears even when a buyer is in the right sellers are still biased towards sellers.
As for a hobby well it wont be as a seller because i really dont think im cut out for that and maybe thats because i would think about the buyer and not just about myself!
Thanks anyway :TAlways looking for a bargain and to help0 -

Pete, I'm a buyer more than I am a seller.
Pete…. Pete…. are you there?
I think Pete has gone home and taken his ball.

I can't believe all this fuss. You got what you paid for yet you're still complaining lol. There really is no pleasing buyers sometimes.
If I purchased 2 items from a seller (seperate auctions) I would just assume that they would be sent together. Why waste packaging?-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Perhaps we could all contribute 0.01p to the Pete Postage Fund, any extra could be donated to the Red Nose Appeal and if Pete happened to be feeling particulary benevolent he/she may decide to contribute their 0.40p too
And no I do not sell on Ebay but I buy a lot and have on several occasions made multiple purchases from same seller and contacted them to suggest they may wish to send all items in the same envelope if it is more convenient to them and have never asked for reduced postage of same, I know the price when I bid, I leave it to the seller to decide whether to give a discount or not, some have, some have not, either way I am happy and have never had to leave negative f/b nor would I ever use it as a threat.

Cant believe we are still talking about this! This has to be the furthest I have ever seen 40p stretch. You may not have got what you see to be value for money as far as postage is concerned but you have certainly had more than 40p worth of forum time.Time to let sleeping jiffy bags lie I think."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0

Not being funny but when you buy from two separate auctions from a seller and pay for the separately, usually the seller is going to post them together. It saves time, packing and the time in the post office.0
