Most sellers are just amateurs selling bits and pieces, they are not retailers and you can't 'expect the same treatment as other retailers', it's just asking too much.
I'm a seller primarily but I buy from time to time too and I've read too many 'bad seller/ bad goods/scam seller' threads on here to worry too much about small niggles, I'm just grateful that things go OK 99% of the time. Let it go and give the seller a break.

Im using a site called https://www.wooo.co.uk at the mo to try and sell my DVD recorder cos there is no selling fee and you can sell practically anything you like (within reason of course) and its split in counties for easy searching.Always looking for a bargain and to help0

oops gave you a thanks instead of quote. However.Hello everyone here's my possible problem.
I ordered 2 separate pieces of software for the same seller 1 after the other. The reason i didnt go for a discounted 2nd P&P was because i wanted the feedback.
The 2 items were 99p each plus £1.90 for each P&P (if i'd have got the discounted 2nd P&P i would have only saved 40p).
The items arrived promtly but in the same first class envelope.
I appreciate sellers make some of their money from inflated P&P's and even though the amounts we're talking about are not large i think there is a principle here.
I emailed the seller on Monday just gone querying this but i've yet to have a response. Even though i was very polite in my mail i also believe in being to the point and said that if i didnt here from the seller by next Monday then i would have no alternative but to give negative feedback (not sure if i made a mistake by saying that).
Because i'd not heard from the seller i emailed Ebay asking for advice.
I got a mail back from Ebay saying i should have asked the seller questions beforehand and my reply to that was that if i'd paid 2 P&P's then i should expect the goods to arrive in 2 separate envelopes and that was common sense therefore there was no need to ask that question.
It would be nice to hear some advice from anyone who's had this experience before or anyone in the know.
A big thanks in advance.
if you had sent me that mail, i would fell angered by your threat and probably neg you with proper cause. only my opinion however.Need to get rid of my Yankee Candle Habit, Not very money saving of me

As i said i understand that sellers make a profit from P&P and i dont mind that but where do you draw the line?
I accepted buying the goods on the understanding that i paid for 2 P&Ps so shouldnt i recieve that service?
If you ordered at 2 different times from the same online retailer but they sent the goods all in 1 parcel and still charged you 2 P&P then would you leave it at that? I dont think you would!
Actually on amazon i frequently but 3 or 4 books from 1 seller i still need to pay almost £11 postage for them and usually they send in one box, (books i buy are the bulky stephen king ones) and i have no probs with them doing that, so i still dont see what your problem is.Need to get rid of my Yankee Candle Habit, Not very money saving of me

Again its not about the amount but about the service that is paid for being different to the services thats being given.
With regards to the lorries then i said the movers decided it needed 2 lorries but sent only 1 but still charged for 2.
This is about principles pure and simple and with regards to the costs these items were for a mate so the money isnt a factor for me.
You don't seem to be getting the point that everyone is making:rolleyes:Need to get rid of my Yankee Candle Habit, Not very money saving of me
