So pleased for you, would like to send a hug and all good wishes that everything works out.,you are a great Mum so dont let him put any doubts in your mind,.Slimming World at target0 -
Again thank you all for your help in keeping me sane.
My ex is not amused in the slightest so after a night of no sleep and threats i have packed some things and gone to stay with some family.
Police have been involved as he reported me for kidnapping our daughter from nursery . And hes been told off for wasting police time
.
Its apparently my fault his girlfriend has gone back to mummies.
As i should have just accepted that my daughter would have been better off with him.
Well the gloves are off
, ive kept everything and it will all be going to the police and soilicitors. 0 -
ooooh, good for the girlfriend! she obviously didn't want to play mummy to someone else's child! I'll hold my hands up and say I got that one very, very wrong!
Hang on in there - he's kicking off 'cos he didn't get his own way. Follow things through legally and all will be fine. He'll raise his head every now and again but if you show him you won't be messed with, it'll all work out for the best.0 -

lol for once I got something right, though I didn't expect her to ship out quite so soon!:p
I'll second the "hang in there" bit, you're doing great, it's all empty bluster and bullying from him and he knows it! And it's going to come back and bit him on the bum very soon

According to his mum (i do get on with her very well) she wasnt even living there properly, as in the majority of her stuff was still at home, it was supposed to be a trial run.
Also apparently i dumped our daughter on him with no explanation, nothing, He is assuming this as she had her rucksack with her at nursery , the rucksack in question is what i put spare clothes in just in case of accidents.0 -
I'd bet money that the girlfriend cleared off back to her mother once she realised how manipulative, unscrupulous, immoral, vindictive, and grossly unfair he has so willingly and effortlessly proved himself to be.
What about if, a few years down the line, the baby were hers and he used the next girlfriend to effect a kidnap ...
The man needs his bloody head examined!0 -
I know this is an old thread but just wanted to say some comments were very reassuring. My daughters father is doing this to me for the second time now and theres absolutely nothing i can do to get her back until it all goes to court. Justice system does my head in - people shouldn't be able to get away with taking a child from a parent for no reason!0

I understand the frustration but unfortunately sometimes there are good reasons and having to go to court first could potentially rake in harm as well.
