I've seen some pretty good offers when a dealer is trying to get rid of some stock that's now end of line (I think my current Caberg was around £85), but otherwise you are right - you get what you pay for.
After all, it's only your brain you are protecting - nothing serious.
Yes hadnt thought of stock thats end of lines and heavily reduced.

BTW, don't you have to be 18 to use eBay?
People always find away around it. For example you have to be over 18 to watch sexual explicit videos but most kids now start watching them at around the age of 10 - 12. You just have to 'lie' and you can do what ever you want on the internet.0 -

What make and model and was it brand new?
Most folk only hold onto 125s for a season or two and even then, a basic one for getting the feel of the roads should only set you back £500.
This means i can not start up my insurance and buy my helmet, gloves, boots etc.
At your age you cannot enter into a legally binding credit agreement, sorry.
Sell it, buy a MUCH cheaper 125cc and then use the balance to cover the insurance, tax and protection.
Out of interest, since you already said you need £120 to pay for your CBT how did you get it home?
Not sure I follow you.
They want a deposit of £150 a month followed by 8 monthly payments of £180, or a further payment of £180 split over ten months?

Don't worry about that! It sounds as though you can't afford either anyhow0 -

Exactly, you should be able to get insurance for a car for about £300 a year following that logic.0 -

So lie (no inverted commas needed) and get a loan...What is the problem?0 -

He may as well lie, he has done so far.0 -

Yes, but the consequences of someone who is 17 watching an explicit videos are exactly diddly-squat.
If you lie about your age to get insurance and you have to claim on it then there WILL be consequences - insurance companies look for any valid reason not to have to pay out.
In addition, since your policy would always have been deemed to be null and void the local plod will consider you to have been riding without insurance which would put you in a whole other world of pain and suffering.
It just isn't worth it.0
