Wow Go you :T you seem mega organised. The list is going down, and new lists are being made..See just a few hours, and the savings you can make soon add up.
The dog will appreciate the dinners more ( online version) knowing they are doing their bit eating food that costs less = everyone's happy :rotfl:
Anyway will keep reading with interest, seeing how you do on Sunday. XX2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.

Morning
:hello:Aamberle!
Feeling a bit miffed this morning as got up to a bill from the garage for fixing our car a little while back which I had forgotten about. It's a friend of the family and so I know they're not charging us a huge amount (£49) but still rubbish when you are trying your hardest to not spend! Another dent in the £10k
Also have two little ones birthdays this weekendso have to venture into town (aka the danger zone) for presents as haven't got the heart to explain to a 4 year old why they don't have a gift.
DH came home with flowers last night as a well done for starting to tackle the debt. Was pleased but also a little bit annoyed that he had spent money on something so frivolous (god I sound an ungrateful one don't I!)We usually have fresh flowers in the house every week but obviously haven't bought any since realisation. They do look pretty though so i'll just shut up.
Still no job news. Getting impatient now....c'mon!!!! Looking forward to sunday though.

It's really sad isn't it, my husband knows he's not allowed to buy flowers too!
Good luck in town. Perhaps take cash and research what you want to buy online so you know where to go to get it cheaply, who has deals etc. and above all, don't take the children!!
Hope you get some good news re job.Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Poor blokes eh?
The amount of times he's had "you never buy me flowers" too!
Don't worry, won't be taking the children anywhere as they're not mine! I think that's frowned upon :rotfl:
Right, will do my very best to buy cheaply.[STRIKE]£49,129[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£[/STRIKE][STRIKE]43,012 [/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£42,209[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£40,823[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£39,866[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£25,960[/STRIKE]£21,338 _party_

Hi squidgy chess piece,
Re rent. My partner and I were in a twelve month rental contract but had to leave in order to look after gran who has Alzheimer's. The estate agents were happy to end the tenancy as long as we paid until they found someone new. They had found someone before we had even left. That meant we were out with nothing to pay and no fines. If you cannot afford rent the estate agents/landlord would rather have someone there that can pay than someone who can't0 -
I did laugh at the thought of you shouting at your DH because he bought you flowers! :rotfl: he's probably thinking he can never get it right!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

whilst you are on a mission, and doing so well, you could ring up mobile peeps and use your talents to ask if there is any way to reduce the tariffs,as you are still tied in ?the worst can happen is they say no,worth a punt?LIVE SIMPLY * GIVE MORE * EXPECT LESS * BE THANKFUL0 -
ooh, kids pressies- have you a b&m bargains or a home bargains near you?
they have great (and good brands) toys and gifts for children.LIVE SIMPLY * GIVE MORE * EXPECT LESS * BE THANKFUL0 -
Aaah thank you all
Felt a bit wobbly this morning but turned into a really good day.
Spent the afternoon at mum and dads rummaging through their garage / shed / loft / cupboards for anything that could be extra car booty. They were very sweet and donated no end so have ended up with a haul of about three car fulls and had a good giggle at some of the old stuff we found (80's glam rock boots anyone?)
Hmm I've not heard of b&m bargains or home bargains before? Sounds like somewhere I need to know about though! Ended up in argos as that meant not going right into town and to get to the charity shops I would've had to run the gauntlet past all my favourites...esp. laura ashley home - just too riskyWith reductions that were on, managed to get two pressies for £35.48 which I didn't think was too bad and the only expense for today.
Going to visit family tomorrow so might struggle with the spends. Might struggle with the diet too so have agreed with DH that we can have a day off and am allowed to open the chocs that are in the cupboard. Slowlyfading - you took the words right out of his mouth
Can't hurt to try on the mobile front. We still really need to find savings in our budget to keep us afloat and then we can start snowballing once I have work. I'm praying that if I can find work we can stay put in our home. I would be so upset to leave but I know it's definitely something we might have to think about not too far down the line. Trying to stay positive for now.
Hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend and has lovely things planned!
