Big (((HUGS))) for Macpep and pudd'n-cat.

Sorry also to hear that the geography exam was so vile - I don't envy the lads and lasses doing exams; I have horrible memories of my O-levels - or at least partial memories, zonked out on Valium as I was at the time!

Sorry I didn't get on here yesterday, btw - Mr LW was wfh..... 'nuff said!!:D

Catching up today - it's a dead loss trying to Fly while Mr LW is doing his early shift in the lounge. Wednesday is generally bathroom day, and being a gentleman of <ahem> a certain age, Mr LW is in and out of there like a fiddler's elbow, so no chance to give the loo a scrub and put limescale remover round. Will catch up with that task shortly.;)

I also want to get both the bedroom and spare room done today if I can, as I have some major 'puter maintenance to do, and could use tomorrow to concentrate on this.

We also managed to get a 2nd hand laptop for £50. It's in very good condition, and runs on Windows 7, so I'm having fun getting to grips with that. So we now have 2 desktop PCs, a netbook, and a laptop, and Mr LW also has a work laptop for when he's wfh.:D The Wii and the Nintendo DSi are also able to connect to the Internet. What we don't have, and frankly neither of us wants, is a Smartphone.:D

We've scanned the pictures Mr LW took on holiday (he still uses an old fashioned film camera - mine is digital) and I've stored the resulting jpegs on my photo album flash drive.:o

It'll be Lottie's last night here tonight; she's being collected tomorrow afternoon; Sidny will be arriving in the car that comes to pick Lottie up!:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Afternoon all

DS1 still grumping, DS3's school did not get through to the next round of the cricket so he is thankfully back in school to calm down.

Just taken the garden rubbish from next door to the dump, along with a load of their excess rubbish whilst I was as it.

One phone call made, another to do and then I have another trip to the dump to do with DS1 joy of joy.

Once I get back strawberries to sort out and dinner to cook. May try and do some hand sewing this evening and to look at my long flying list.

    Gorgeous photo, pigpen. :D
Posi-vibes to dusty's DSs and CY's DD2 (please tell her that quantity does not necessarily mean quality).
LW - glad to hear you have more canine visitors lined up. :T
macpep - gentle (((hugs))) to you and your little cat. It's so sad when you know what the outcome is likely to be. You're doing the right thing, though, to take her. My friend's cat seemed just old and weak and she'd hoped that he'd pass away in his sleep. Unfortunately it was not a peaceful end and she now wishes she'd taken him sooner. :( I hope you're going to have a lovely weekend away and happy memories of her.

I've done dailies and stuff in the kitchen since I've come home, filled a bag of stuff for the charity collection tomorrow, fed DS2 and the cat, sorted laundry and flung various bits. DH has gone bowling and I'm going to look for something to eat for DS1 and me. Not making great progress, but I'm doing more than I used to.

    Monday - kitchen

    Tuesday - Living room/Dining Room
    HHC decluttering in DR

Dailies done and bedroom fine. Haven't stripped bed as nowhere to dry washing yet so might do that tomorrow.

Got to take DS for his preschool jabs tomorrow. He won't be impressed. I thought preschool meant they had it just before school? Silly me...

Other than that we need to buy some milk and sweets (according to DS) then in the aft we will pack a few bits for Saturday. All staying over at my mums as I'm going out for a few drinks and tea with my friends in the aft!

Hmm. Think littlest one is out of bed, will just go ut her back...

Thank you Mrs Chaos - I have been making such comments myself.... and some snide ones about boring the examiners into submission.....

Off to check what I'm cooking for DS's lunch.... and to do the washing up...

And many thanks to all who have sent posi-vibes - it is much appreciated!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
