CY I have one very depressed DS who had not revised enough stuff and didn't like the questions at all - hope your DD did better

DS3 also not happy with his baton pass in the relay but his school still won the track competition out of all the schools in the area so that was great.

Thankfully DS2 was very happy with how his Maths exam went.

I did get all my ironing done before I went, think I'll have 15 minutes in the garden next, just pottering.

I have 1 depressed DD who didn't know enough about retailing....

I still think to put all the human and physical geography on 1 paper is too much to learn - and the way they divide the Q's is enough to make anyone frustrated. DD2 missed a lot of climate stuff when she was ill, which meant she had to do volcanoes in the first section, which meant she couldn't do volacnoes in the last section!

It didn't help that DD's mate filled her 12 page answer book and then had 8 extra answer books .........

Still, today has been scheduled as a day off for DD2 - she definitely needs it!

in a way it really helps to know that someone at another school found it just as hard...

I have walked and groomed the dogs, sorted recycling, emptied bins, tidied and dusted master bedroom, banished cobwebs from hall and downstairs loo and decluttered the coat stand.

Think that will be it for me today re flying.. DH is just taking DS to college. Two of the dogs have to go to vet later and I'm picking DS up so will be busy enough.

    Have a good day everyone.

Cy big hugs for DD - DS 'blagged' the eco system long question but had no data to back it up. Hadn't revised one section (economy one) but had to answer it again without data. He is not communicating at all this morning.

Sun is here so washing going on the line and I'm going to sort the strawberry beds, lots of rotting fruit and not much ripening and cut next door's grass.

See you all for a cuppa in a bit.

    Morning,
Well made up my bed and hoovered bedroom (tots eating crackers...), plus spare room as moving wicker baskets makes untold mess...

Kiddies messed over breakfast (my fault for giving them crackers) so turfed them out in garden. I have a double retaining wall that I can plant in, so have weeded all along there and put some petunias in, and weeded all along the back wall too. Think I managed to avoid pulling up my seedlings although I'm not always sure which is which lol.

Kiddies now hungry so eating cold crumpets and bananas and watching yes, you guessed it, finding Nemo. Whilst building a train track. Really need to get some different Disney movies...

I'm having a cuppa. We are all in our fleeces today as it is brrrrrr.

Will do kitchen dailies after that, and collect up any dry washing. If there is room I'll put the last load on.

    Good morning everyone

I was away nursery trip with DS yesterday, we had a lovely day, then I had my niece later on so never managed to get on at all yesterday!

My wee cat is going to the vet tomorrow, :(:(:(as well as being deaf, she is going blind in one eye, perhaps why she was missing her tray when peeing. :o She has deteriorated badly over the last 2 weeks, she always came into the LR after DS was in bed & jumped up to sit with me, she doesn’t even do that anymore :( & for the last week or so she has been sleeping on the kitchen floor, & only ventures into the LR to use her tray, moved it down under the stairs for her, besides peeing on the carpet, it was taking her ages to get up & down the stairs. I am not looking forward to tomorrow afternoon at all. :(We are also going away this weekend, perhaps for the best to keep our mind off what I think the vet will tell me. I will do what I can tonight with the list but need to finish the packing off, all clothes are ironed ready to be put in case so just toiletries etc to sort. All rooms are not too bad just a quick once over & I will change kids beds when we come home on Sunday.
