    we get free prescritions and free health care for elderly all came from us first. yet all our insurance premiums are up due to the lack of english law

    I'll give you free care for the elderly. (Free prescriptions were ours first.)

    why would i take legal cover all you need to do is got to another solicitors. so its a total waste of money

    If you purchased from a dealer (did you?), gap insurance may have prevented your anticipated £3K loss. Is that a waste of money as well?

    It's up to you to make sure that whatever cover you take out is suitable, same as taking legal cover - just in case it's needed.
