hi.
i was involved in a road traffic accident 2 weeks ago where a car ploughed into the back off me going along a coastl road. my car was forced off the road and rolled down a 30 feet embankment onto the beach. it was horrific. We were all taken to hospital i was on a spinal board and recieved x rays but got out later that evening. the rest of family just had cuts and bruises.my partner and i have been to gp 3 times since as our backs are in terrible pain and were suffering from flashbacks .
i am now being contacted by personal injury people.
can anyone please give me some advice on who is the best firm to use and do anybody have any recomendations of cashback lawyers.
id appreciate no comment regarding me making money from this as my car has been writen off and i have made approx a 3k loss from that.

Thank goodness you all are OK. (barring the back pain). Must have been terrifying, especially for the younger ones.
Can your insurers recommend anyone?0 -
Wasn't the advice in your last thread enough?

my insurers tesco have passed me onto a firm called digby and brown who take between 10 and 20% .
im looking for peoiple who have had experience of this and can recomened a decent firm to use or even better a good cashback lawyer. ive had a look but there doesnt seem to be many.
my kids are semi ok .there fine during day but its at night they get upset and both have been in our bed and ive had to sleep in my sons rom as he gets realy upset during the night. a car crash is bad enough never mind getting force dover the edge of a 3o foot drop then rolling over 2 or 3 times onto the beach0 -
i did post but im looking for someone to help out with a company to use or any advice as i have never been in an accident.
i have now been off work for 3 weeks0 -
Might be better to keep it all on one thread. First it wasn't about compensation, now you want to maximise it. Who'd have thought it?........... :thinks:Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.

But you wont have to go to the loss of the £3k for your car because this will be paid to you by the third party insurers.....The loopy one has gone :j0 -
the £k loss is from what i paid less than a year ago to what the insurers value it at now i purchased my car from a dealer and had finance so had all the usual over inflated costs involved hence the 3 k loss0

Sack them, a claims management company should not be charging you anything, there charges are paid by the third party's insurance company, have you signed any contract with them yet.
Or just see any local solicitor, they usually give yu half an hour free session and if you use them, their fees will be paid by the third party
And dont accept the first offer for your car from the insurance company.
Hope you will all be okay.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
