If I was you privateeye13 I would stop posting on this thread now. From the perspective of an outsider the more you try to defend the employment practices of this firm the more you persuade people not to work for them, however desperate they are.0

I know what you mean, its a little frustrating though its like talking to a brick wall to be honest. Cant anyone see that im here to try and help you all. Im trying to give you advise, but at the same time battling against some of the negativity in here.Doing the investigation work - you don't have time to do.0 -

This just goes to prove the level of intelligence of their average non-employee then. You are not part of the organisation and you are not an employee. You have a contract with them to provide a service, but have no employment rights - they are conning you to save money, which says a lot about their business ethics.privateeye13 wrote: »Secondly its made more than clear that its self employed. People will complain to save their own butts to be honest.
They've obviously changed their spiel then as there are a number of people who are facing large tax payments and fines because they didn't pay their tax and NI because they thought they were employed (you are paying your full tax and NI aren't you?)privateeye13 wrote: »They pay you a normal wage, to be honest, if you work from home have no over heads then the wage is actually inline with most other call centre jobs to be honest.
The only overhead that you don't have is the cost of getting to work.
NO holiday pay.
NO sick pay.
NO employment rights.
NO NMW.
Pay your own NI.
Pay your own phone costs, electricity etc.
Did you factor all of the above in to your calculations?privateeye13 wrote: »Have you ever worked for foxy yourself?
No, I have a proper career with a proper employer that employs me in a legal way. BUT I do know someone who has been burned by their tactics and along with a number of other victims is providing full details to HMRC as they are interested in foxy's methods.0 -

My point is, your more than willing to complain about it on here and spend time doing so, so why not spend that time more wisely in actually doing something that will stop these calls? - such as register with TPS, ask on the phone, write and email the companies to demand my details are removed from the databases Doesn't that make more sense to you?
Frankly, nothing you say makes sense to me but it is very entertaining so please, carry on.0 -

Ok firstly you have no idea who i am so please dont make judgements an insulting comments like that (Reported by the way)
Secondly, to all you muppets, im not a moron of any shape or size, i have a criminology diploma and a law degree. I do this job because it suits my needs at the moment with my family commitments.
Cold calling is acceptable purely because stupid people like yourselves dont read the small print when you sign things and therefore give third party companies the rights to call you. IF foxy comms was a scam do you think the Job Centre would still be advertising and getting people who are looking for work to apply? I have a lady Private messaging me at the moment who has been told to apply for this job by the job centre as they have sent a number of people to foxy and they have loved it.
Thirdly, do you not think that the authorities would do something about foxy comms and cold calling companies if they were scams etc? Foxy has been going for a few years now and its not as if there not easy to find lol.
I am going to stop posting on here i think, its pointless trying to talk to you people. Just because someone says something good about a company (THEYMUST BE PAID FOR THAT). As for the employment thing, ACTUALLY yes i do have employee rights DERP!!!. Although i dont get sick pay, or holiday pay so what - i get to pick my own god dam hours - CAN YOU DO THAT?
PEACE OUTDoing the investigation work - you don't have time to do.0 -
PS... anyone thinking about trying to post honest opinions on here do not bother, if the rest of the people disagree with it they battle with you non stop. Like a school playground where the popular kids think there RIGHT!Doing the investigation work - you don't have time to do.0

How can you have employee rights when you are not an employee?privateeye13 wrote: »i get to pick my own god dam hours - CAN YOU DO THAT?
Yes I can, as long as I do the hours in the month that I am contracted for and the work gets done. I am actually off home in quarter of an hour - might log in from home later on if I can be bothered or might just leave it until the morning.
The benefit is in addition I get paid get paid holidays, paid sick days and unemployment entitlements if I lose my job (that is another thing that I forgot that you were missing out on by being "self-employed"), plus I get paid a hell of a lot more than you do.0 -

I assume that is me that you are talking about - you might like an update - after I found out that the job was self-employed thanks to you, my advisor at the job centre has told me that it should never have been on their lists and I don't need to apply for it as it is a fake job.
I also never told you that "they have sent a number of people to foxy and they have loved it", so you appear to not be being entirely honest are you.
Also, is this an official Foxy stance or your personal suggestion (from a PM) -Dont end your benefits though until you have passed your trial period with foxy comms!!!! All you need to tell the job centre is that your waiting to hear back about your application (that way you still get benefits paid etc).
My advisor found that to be particularly interesting.0
