Hi all
Just to wish you all a very merry christmas.
Thanks to all of you on this thread for sharing your successes and minor set backs in the battle against the richard. I have been inspired by the positives and when I have a minor set back (mainly indecision on things) I can read about someone else's success which gives me the kick up the a$s that I need.
Thanks again all x0 -
Merry Christmas everyone!
I am having a lovely time pottering around my tidy home, I can even prepare and cook meals and have lovely plans for tomorrow. Love to you all. xxx0 -
Happy Christmas Everybody. We're having a lovely morning. With freed up living room space, DD is happily playing with her playmobil zoo and happyland village and Little Miss books (all courtesy of deals from MSE).
I have a big pile of books, and DH has his music. DS is happy on the PS3 with his new games before we go out for lunch.
We got a new microwave from MIL, so the old rusty one can go. I am ridiculously pleased about that.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

I do not like the waste. I do not. it feels heinous to me. But I like the lightness and the acheivement Of clearing.
Thank you LIR, I can really relate to thatIt's lovely how everyone has their own aspirations along the scale but we can still empathise with each other.
Happy Christmas to everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful day x0 -
Hiya guys, it's almost half over, how did that happen?!
My tip for Xmas, don't try and pick up an escaped bunny that has gone semi-wild without thick gloves...:o
suffice to say, bunny is still free...
Just put my turkey breast in the oven, going to have roasties, cauli-cheese, stuffing, sausagemeat, and some other veg...so hungry already!
Lovely day here, rain has stopped at last and we have blue skies.
Have a good day, everyone, I hope it's what you want in a day.

edit, WW, a lovely new microwave, nothing wrong in being ridiculously pleased, what a fab pressie.0 -
Well, the cat enjoyed his tiny serving of reindeer - so much so, he spat the second scrap of a pig in a blanket out and sat on my foot until I gave him some more.
He's currently pretending to sleep under the tree everytime I look at him - mainly because of the noise from a sneak attack upon it.
I'm feeling fat and full, but I'm sure I'll find some room for something more in a minute.
Hope everybody is enjoying their day!I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Merry Christmas Everyone!! Thank you for all your posts and support this year. You've been amazing!
No decluttering today, of course. But this is the first year that wrapping paper has been put on the fire instead of being de-Sellotaped and smoothed out.

A Happy New Year to everyone.
Wrapping paper here has been scrunched and balled ready for lighting the woodburner in the next coue of days..
Dericharding Christmas lunch was fabulous. The main course was simple and elegant. Sadly I didn't feel too strong by the middle of the day so my dh ended up having to bring lunch to the table by himself but he did it beautifully. I couldn't eat a starter, but I ate main course then we waddled to the sitting room and have just had pudding and cheese.
It's been a very quiet and simple day.
I found myself frustrated a bit as a; visiting parent is hard of hearing and so is now watching tv at three times the volume (yep, no exaggeration) to the volume I listen to it at, and sound is very aggravting to my neurological issue, so I want to scream a bit, but mainly....I want to getu on with sorting stuff out while we are on a good roll.
We still have lots of left overs though, so dericharding the fridge is dh's priority for tomorrow if I understand him correctly!0 -
I've had a really nice day, just me but with the support of friends, online and phone it's made it very special.
I washed up as I prepared/cooked so easy to tidy afterwards, have moved the small stove and considering moving the freezer, but may do that tomorrow!
Ate way too much!
Took some turkey to the cats I'm visiting but they weren't impressed. :rotfl:0 -
Had a nice, if quiet day! Ate way too much as seems to be tradition of the day, as did OH, I do not know where he put his as he are about twice the amount I did!
There are still bags of toys strewn about the livingroom but I made the kids take any clothing presents upstairs straight away and I did chuck loads in the cupboard, again, so we could move!
May actually transfer some to the loft for now. Although I'm guessing the stuff won't take up half as much room de-boxed
Hope everyone's had a lovely day xNo more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80
