We had two recorders. DH wouldn't let me declutter the guitars in this house. It would be D I VO R C E. Not that I'd want to. He's spent so long building the collection up. Helpfully, he's hung them on the wall so I don't have to move the stands one by one when I hoover up.
Am now decluttering by remote control. That is, DS spent part of today sorting out all the boxes for his various gizmos, putting them all into a big box and has informed me that they can now go into the loft.0 -
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Morning all!
Painter That Talks Too Much still here. Gloss paint all over doorframes, 4 kids still off school being held hostage in front room attached to XBox.
I am allowed to put coats and shoes back in porch now (Yippee!!) so they will be De Richarded as I go. Bedroom still needs tackling but it is currently holding a large greyhound in an even larger crate to stop him looking like a red and white zebra as he keeps leaning in the gloss. Gloss on stair skirting full of ginger hair.
Husbandio away fixing things in remote lab so he will be back later so Im hoping I can at least get the coats and shoes back and the bedroom sorted. Would be a lovely surprise for him.
My car is another hoard- I call it my office and it contains loads of work stuff. It also has a top box that is full of coats that have been there since April. Out Out Out I sayHave nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.

I love that when you can get rid of a storage container as you realise it is just adding to the clutter.
Still basking in the afterglow of yesterday (and still sunny!) - I've had a flatpack bed since January sales, needs assembling, the reviews said this was nigh on impossible without a power screwdriver, which put me off even trying, kept meaning to buy one, found out yesterday that I already have one(was in shed 4!), now I only have to find the charging unit which I think may actually be in the plastic crate that is propping up the broken metal slat of the current bed
that I need to replace - circles within circles eh? :T
I'll go and do it now ... oh hang on sun is shining! In case you've missed it.......Awwww, that baby weighs less as my big grey bunny!
Jo-Jo - found loads of repurposed reeds in the shed that I'd thought would make plant markers! You never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0 -
So my guests arrive in a couple of hours. The whole of the downstairs and the bathroom need cleaning. What am I doing?
