I've done a bad thing this morning :rotfl:
I've opened my sealed pot.....
and drum roll please .......
Since I started saving my spare coins (10p/20p/50p/£1/£2 + notes ) (mostly this year) I have amassed the grand sum of.......
£250!
:T:T:T:j:j:j:beer::beer::beer::D:D:D
I'm so pleased.
I have been sat here this morning pondering my holiday in a couple of weeks and how I have [no money saved] and debating whether I should raid the sealed pot in favour of saving it for xmas ? but then temptation took over my sensible head and the knife sharpener from my knife block made friends with my teramundi pot :rotfl: and lo and behold I have £250 to pay into my bank account on Monday :T:T:T0 -
Ah Well done Flat Eric. That's fab news. :j
I hope i have that amount when i open mine, although i'm going to try and hold off until November. But it's best to use it if you need it rather than get into debt.
Anyway i spent my last £5 yesterday, so i came in exactly on £25.I am pleased although i should have spent less as i am going to have an overspend on petrol this month so need to rein it in somehow.
Will be setting £20 for next week, have nail and hair appt but budgeted for elsewhere, think i will only be Zumba ing once next week as i will have to watch the footy on Tuesday although i'll be at home so wont cost anything. Not much else planned.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

Yes I am pleased and it shows just how much loose change can add up to. It will help pay for my holiday which is somewhat of a relief. I hate that feeling of begrudging being on holiday because everything costs so much and I have no spending money.
When I come back from holiday, I will start saving again and I will open that in December.
I didn't if I'm being honest want to open the pot but I'm liking the idea of saving six months of the year for my annual holiday and the other six months for xmas :T0 -

Hi everyone
Sorry I went a bit absent after Wednesday, ended up getting quite busy!!!
And lost yesterday completely as it was my uncles wedding and basically lost a day...
Anywho!!! After this week's disastrous result I must be good this week. Today I need to spend on food for dinner I'm cooking for father's day. Apart from that, don't think I've got anything on... oh I do, on Thursday we're going out for a meal for my friends hubby's 30th. I've got a bit put aside for that...
