Just a quick post before trying to catch up.

1st T's, no price flops or real food mags. Did get a little trouted at checkout though. Lady hadn't seen a price check coupon for years and had to call manager to get it authorised. Nothing surprises me now.
2nd and 3rd T's, plenty of price flops but still no real food mags. Very annoying. I get the feeling they are holding back on the mags for some reason.

That's where mine will be going - otherwise known as my kids!

Nutritional? It's a tin of peas or a stock cube! Everything in the value range is fine. I have eaten from the top end, right to the bottom end and they are all decent. We use the 9p babybath as handwash in the Dettol No-touch system and the kids all use the 9p shampoo (as do I). It's not going to repair and protect all your ladies hair etc, but it's fine for us "going a little thin on the top" blokes :D

Really good idea. Thanks to you and the poster who set the everyday value search up.

Bah! Can you only multiquote 3 posts? I went through the thread quoting everywhere I wanted and only three came up! ARGHHH!!

On to other things - RE JTD. To all those who are saying "blah blah has poilt it for all of us" - shut it! I'm sorry if that's rude but you're simply just jealous. If you had the time, inclination or the brainpower to do it you would be.

Tesco used DTD instore as a way to avoid trading standards jumping on them. Their price integrity team is frankly shocking and for this reason they have the incentive. All customer service operators have been trained by their franchise managers (allthough I haven't had one that will go on record saying it yet as it's not official policy) [hmm, thinking of this I may post on the FB page - hmm] to be elusive and offer to "resell" at the normal cost thus avoiding DTD. They then have to ring and authorise DTD should you ask for it.

They are just trouts - pure and simple. I have been on the receiving end of a failed DTD, yes failed, in that I bought 15 items and even after conversations with HO and the Exec himself, I had no joy. For this reason I am currently in conversation with trading standards. This is the only way to combat it. Unfortunately this has raised my profile in a store (13 miles away) so I don't go to that (my 8th choice store) anymore.

People can choose to do a coupon more than once, use DTD knowing the price on just one item, eat a grape on the way round, womble more than two receipts in 14 days, use other people's conditional spend coupons, do more than £100 JTD in a month and any number of small things that are breaking the T&Cs. Why if someone does 1-10 are they better than someone who does 10-20. What is the cut off point? Can you give me a figure? NO! WEll don't bloody bother.
You know what, get of this bloody thread if you don't like the glitching. I hate jobsworths with a passion!:mad::mad:

Anyway, big hugs to all those that hammer Tesco - long may it continue! :money::D:rotfl::A

They are not trouts pure and simple. This is an awful way to describe people who are just trying to get by like the rest of us. They are my neighbour, my friends daughter and her friend too. How cruel:mad::mad::mad:

Any suggestions on what to do with a bunch of yellow and green peppers? I was going to simply cut them into thin strips and freeze them for later use in stir frys and some such, but am wondering if anyone here has a better idea. :)

    Hello everyone

I've got my Tesco buzz back on :)

We're off to pick up an ebay buy this evening and its miles and miles away - so I get to check in with some Tescos along the way. I love trying out new Tescos - how sad am I?!! :rotfl:

We are doing the same tomorrow, over 100 miles away , but thankfully a few tesco's on the way:D

Just to bore you all - I've had an absolute carp 24 hours :(

Horrid work colleague had another go :mad: very very nearly walked but have only tomorrow to work until hols. I thought we worked for the same side but obviously not - tackled them about it later & got nowhere as it seems they can't please me :eek:
All I did was call out the back for someone to help clear the queue. There were 3 of them out back.
    This colleague appears & states '3 - that's not a queue' & walks off :mad::mad::mad:
Didn't let me explain that the queue of 3 had been there 10 minutes as I was dealing with a complicated customer.
:( The worst bit is the shame as I went out the back & actually cried :(

Big hugs to you Snap. I know what it's like when work colleagues turn nasty and all you want to do is get your job done, but they seem to want to go out of their way to make life difficult :(
All I can say is chin up and try not to let the !!!!!!s get you down. I know it's hard, but remember you are not the one doing anything wrong and Karma wil play it's hand eventually. When your having a tough day like today, just come home and have a nice cuddle with Fourp and try to forget about it all, and remember we are all here for you if you need us for some hugs or just to have a little rant and get things off your chest.
I hope you can enjoy a nice relaxing holiday and try to forget about it all, if only for a few days ((hugs))

You could always cut them in half and fill with MAM and cheese and roast them for some lovely stuffed peppers :)
