. It must be so hard for him when the inevitable looms in his mind, poor lamb, but he doesn't let it get to him too often. Keeping positive and having a laugh - that's the way to do it :D

3 dogs please dont take this the wrong way, but you must think about the inevitable as well. maybe chat about the sort of funeral alan wants. what you will do when your a widow.
maybe get a shoe box and put his bits and bobs in there. when my hubby was dying we did just this, i asked my son what shall we put in it. we put some pictures, his tobacco pouch and his mug. son wanted to put his dads false teeth in the box as well:eek: but i said no to that.

sorry if i have upset anyone.:(

My Grandma's in one. It's just like normal fairly upmarket flats but with red cords dangling everywhere :D Beware though, the residents behave worse than teenagers when they get together in the communal lounge. :eek:You have to buy the property and pay a service charge on top.

Frequent & Fudge2 - re tesco car park - yes that is my local, the car park was only opened last night. They reduced some food as they werent getting the customers through the door, but most of it they sent to other stores to sell Not Fair, but even i dont fancy wombling now as a lot of the water was sewage.....

I think you have a valid point it must of course be harder when someone is terminally ill such as in yours & 3dogs circumstances rather than just generally asking as its so important to choose the right moment

For some reason I had always assumed that because my Mum & Dad are divorced there was a space with her parents in the local cemetery, I don't know where I got the idea it was a 3 person plot. We were talking, or rather she was the other day & it turns out its a 2 person plot & she wants to be cremated with no flowers as she hates flowers.

back from my midwife appointment and all is fine. Blood pressure actually went up for a change (good news).....previously its been on a downward slide and I was feeling dizzy.

Heard the little one's heart beat again....one happy little person in there me thinks.

Am planning a JTD shop, but need the time to get it all planned out. And other half wants me upstairs....(no not for that please get minds out of gutter).....to sort through some old papers.

With thanks to Cornflakes-who? on the coupon thread:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=53807711&postcount=1002

    New Coupon

£2.00 off Vladivar Apple and Pear or Raspberry and Vanilla Vodka 50cl - TESCO ONLY - Valid 12th June - 3rd July 2012

One coupon per person per day
    Go to: http://www.facebook.com/VladiVodka/app_203351739677351

I found that clicking "print coupon" didn't actually send it to printer in IE9, just gives you image to print. Works in Firefox though. IN IE9 just right click image and "print picture" (and "save picture as..." in case it gets pulled early ;))

Found Apple and Pear variant online at Tesco for £10.00, so £8.00 with coupon.

It does say selected Tesco stores on coupon, just check "Find Vladivar" tab on their FB page to find your nearest store that stocks it.

My nan and grandad planned their plots, and how it was to be. Under no circumstances did nan want grandad 'in with her'. However, she went first, so what he wants he will get. Was only through a little chat and an admission to me did we find out what he wants (cremated and in with his wife). If he hadn't told me then he'd have been in the plot next to nan.
