On to other things - RE JTD. To all those who are saying "blah blah has poilt it for all of us" - shut it! I'm sorry if that's rude but you're simply just jealous. If you had the time, inclination or the brainpower to do it you would be.

Tesco used DTD instore as a way to avoid trading standards jumping on them. Their price integrity team is frankly shocking and for this reason they have the incentive. All customer service operators have been trained by their franchise managers (allthough I haven't had one that will go on record saying it yet as it's not official policy) [hmm, thinking of this I may post on the FB page - hmm] to be elusive and offer to "resell" at the normal cost thus avoiding DTD. They then have to ring and authorise DTD should you ask for it.

They are just trouts - pure and simple. I have been on the receiving end of a failed DTD, yes failed, in that I bought 15 items and even after conversations with HO and the Exec himself, I had no joy. For this reason I am currently in conversation with trading standards. This is the only way to combat it. Unfortunately this has raised my profile in a store (13 miles away) so I don't go to that (my 8th choice store) anymore.

People can choose to do a coupon more than once, use DTD knowing the price on just one item, eat a grape on the way round, womble more than two receipts in 14 days, use other people's conditional spend coupons, do more than £100 JTD in a month and any number of small things that are breaking the T&Cs. Why if someone does 1-10 are they better than someone who does 10-20. What is the cut off point? Can you give me a figure? NO! WEll don't bloody bother.
You know what, get of this bloody thread if you don't like the glitching. I hate jobsworths with a passion!:mad::mad:

Anyway, big hugs to all those that hammer Tesco - long may it continue! :money::D:rotfl::A

What a rude and unpleasant person you are. What gives you the right to talk to and about people like that, and more to the point what gives you the right to tell people to get off the thread
There is no need to be so obnoxious.

I have reported your other rude post and will report this one too.

    On the discount code section.
Hi not sure where to post this so apologies if the wrong place!!

Just been to tesco and bought mens pair of jeans with belt priced at £12.50. Trying to use the £5 of £25 spent on clothing.... They went through the till at £2 rather than £12.50! so obviously having saved £10.50 I didnt grumble but thought would pass on to everyone just incase.

It was tesco at Midsomer Norton/Paulton in Somerset at 13:10pm.

Just been to Morrisons for some of the chicken breast steaks on offer at £2 for 400g and can't believe the difference in the weights.
I couldn't find any scales in the veg aisle so couldn't do my usual weighing in store but have just done it now at home and:

    Pk 1 427g inc packaging
    Pk 2 478g
    Pk 3 504g

The 240g pks of bacon on offer at £1

    Pk 1 256g
    Pk 2 289g

I'm thinking of buying some tiny scales to carry in my handbag ;)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

The Mr Kipling angel slices are also £1.40 a pack in t's for a 6+3 free pack. In A's they are 2 for £2, so should be agood one to add to a JTD shop and providing you add another cake for 20p that doesn't compare, you should get 80p JTD back, so your 20p value cake and a £1 for 18 Angel slices, yum, yum :)

Did this and bought them with a tesco value chocolate & vanilla swiss roll, it did compare -

    1 x T EDAY VALUE CHOC AND VANILLASWISS ROLL £ 0.25 £ 0.25
    2 x MR KIPLING ANGEL SLICES 6 PACK £ 2.80 £ 2.00
  • If anyone has vouchers left from the SS trial
    Viakal is now 2/£4 so 2 + 2 £1 vouchers - great product for £1 a bottle.
Also got some more free sausage:T:T:T
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j
Good things come to those who wait:A Bad things come on express delivery:(
  • Sorry, OT but does anyone know of any good deals on baby wipes at the moment? I've been holding out for another sainsbob's baby event but my never ending supply of wipes is dangerously close to running out so need to find a good deal.

.I JUST got an unexpected dtd on galaxy slices (cookie crumble 6 pack) bc 9903 the offer of £1.50 each or 2 for £2 did not kick in. it did yesterday. they did not remove the sel as it was a current offer and did not know why it did not work.
anyway i got 2 packets and used a £1 price flop, and £2 back dtd as offer did not kick in.
also for KADISON AND MOGCHOPS there are mam ham packs in reduced sesction to a £1 so free if you got any coupons
edit galaxy offer still showing online
