An example of why Tesco makes me

There is no way that the peaches and nectarines were worth £3.39 before.
£1 should be the normal price!
You can get the same things from Aldi for 69p:

Tesco conning people to think they've come across a deal.

A 12 pack of lamb chops were £3.05, expensive for whoopsies but still cheap compared to normal price. Also bought some BBQ meat kebabs and multi buy discount kicked in. Bedding plants were reduced to 45p a tray, needed a good watering so left them outside overnight..:):)
It was a lot harder to get some good bits of meat when they were 90% but now people are looking carefully at what they are picking up and not grabbing as much in one go. I did get nearly £20 of stuff which of course would probably have only cost me £8 couple months ago but enjoyed being able to pick what I really wanted. The fruit and veg were still 90% so had a few good things there.

That is why I get almost all my fruit & veg form Lidl or Aldi. I look at the whoopsied fruit and veg in places like Asda and it is still more expensive than in those two, and I have them both less than 5 mins walk away :T:TWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I have an Epson Stylus DX4000 all-in-one scanner/printer which has worked well for a couple of years but suddenly this week the scanner isn't working - the printer is fine.
I have spoken to Epson support and followed their instructions for the usual uninstall scanner/ reinstall scanner, check twain folder (?) etc. and nothing has made a difference.
They say it must be a fault with my pc rather than their product - or something like a recent update - but everything else is working fine on my pc.
Any suggestions? It is not worth the cost of paying to get it repaired - cheaper to buy a new one - so you are my last port of call before heading to the shops.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Have you tried doing a System Restore to a date when you KNOW it was working? If that fails, is there another computer you can install it to so you can test if it works on a new install?
Our scanner is fickle - we sometimes have to plug it into a different USB port, sometimes have to reboot the scanner, sometimes the computer, nothing logical but it eventually works.
Do you hear the scanner trying to scan? Do you get any reaction from it? If you get no reaction it is likely to be a software fault, if you hear it starting up and trying to scan then I would expect it to be a hardware fault.
If you do replace it, please just get a scanner. These all in one units are great for space saving, but there is far more to go wrong on them.
By the way I am not pro, just spent years playing with all these things and get asked to fix things by mates!!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I very rarely manage to get good whoopsies on fruit and vegetablesAll the chilled whoopsies and meat used to be in one place but last night the meat was separate to the chilled whoopsies so was much easier to get to as I find that most people go straight for reduced chilled foods whereas I prefer the meat.
