    Afternoon
Just been to T's and got Regal Handmade Coconut Cookies rtc to 29p from £1.19 on the world food aisle. They are gorgeous:j but dangerous near laptop as very crumbly.
A big thank you to Neosi :j:jstampie didn't meet frankie:j Thank you. I got the mam pork sausages manned till SA just overrode till. They also had cool bags but they have hung them on the end of the tills with a £1 sel and no mention of the offer, so I told a few people in the queue who would benefit.
SnapAnt sorry you've had a bad day, I hope you and 4p have a lovely well deserved holiday.

You could always cut them in half and fill with MAM and cheese and roast them for some lovely stuffed peppers :)

Mmm, never heard of stuffed peppers. Sounds intriguing, to say the least. guess I know what I'll be trying on for tomorrow's dinner. thanks, fudge! :D

(Of course, this means I now need to go to tesco to pick up some MAM!)

    :(:(:(:(

Just to bore you all - I've had an absolute carp 24 hours :(

Horrid work colleague had another go :mad: very very nearly walked but have only tomorrow to work until hols. I thought we worked for the same side but obviously not - tackled them about it later & got nowhere as it seems they can't please me :eek:
All I did was call out the back for someone to help clear the queue. There were 3 of them out back.
    This colleague appears & states '3 - that's not a queue' & walks off :mad::mad::mad:
Didn't let me explain that the queue of 3 had been there 10 minutes as I was dealing with a complicated customer.
:( The worst bit is the shame as I went out the back & actually cried :(

Be strong Snap, don't ever let the nasties see you cry, deep breathes & let it all out later.

And yes 3 is a queue do they not understand the concept of customer service, I feel very angry for you

What you need is a few of us to pose as customers and get very disgruntled and report the person. :D

If only we were nearer I'd be happy to pop in & point out I pay their wages :D

    Thanks ♥

:( Vets just rung & said I shouldn't go on holiday & leave Ancient cat with the house sitter. What if he has a 'turn' - would I give the responsiblity to them to have him put to sleep ?????:mad::mad:
My sister lives a few doors away & would step in if it happened & fingers crossed it doesn't ♥
I know my carp day is minute to others on here so again I apologise for vocalising about my small problems
    Will disappear & try & unstress :o
when ever we go away our kitty sitter has all the vets details and certificates. she had 17 cats of her own at one time now has 9. she also lives next door. so she knows if ours need the vets or are just messing about. i.e pretending to be ill so they get extra fuss. yes they do do that :D. if ancient cat does die when your away, its cos it was his time to go over the rainbow bridge. please dont stress about him, have your hoilday and enjoy it. there is nothing you can do for ancient cat, except be pleased and proud that you have given him a plesant loving life.
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.

What is it with your vet ? When ours were terminal he would see them every week no charge, check he still felt they had quality of life & promised to tell us when he thought they didn't even warned me the week before one had to be put to sleep that he was on the last lap.

Big hugs to you, 4p & ancient cat

I do think of what is going to happen as he gets worse plus wwhat I am going to do when he dies. Whether to stay down here or to move back up North to be with family - no decision on that yet. I would love to live near my family and get to see my great-nieces lots, but all our/my friends are round here, and bet-friends down in Portsmouth. Lots to think about I know

Not having been in that position but knowing people that have it seems the best thing to do is move things around indoors so its a different but the same house, keeping some things but not being swamped by not wanting to get rid of anything & then giving it at least a year before making a decision whether to move or not, let your feelings settle.

As you say you would like to live nearer your family but would they want you on the doorstep all the time or is it better just to visit more often.

I can only wish you both the best in the coming months take one step at a time & we're all here to listen when necessary
