Have also told friend who is coming with us to florida, she loves seaworld so is likely to spend her working days staring at it till we go:rotfl:
hope everyone is having a good day.

    Hiya,

Had a great day today. Lots of lovely fresh air and walks. Walked all around Giant's causeway which was breathtaking. Then went over a rope bridge over the sea. I can't remember the name now. :o DH went after me and started clomping with his feet out in the middle  which made it wobble. :D The countryside is beautiful. Smells different too. ;)

CM Glad you got your dad's stuff sorted. Don't rest for too long. We don't want you turning into a lazy moo. :D

TM Lovely to read that yourre still alive and kicking. :D

Well off to find something to eat. Your tea sounds lovely NHSlave. ((((hugs))) to everyone & we need more info Kaz. ;) Byeeeeeee

    Good Evening ALL

    Hope we are well

NIce to see you back GB. (((HUGS))) to you.

Just got back from school parents evening, as I said earlier - DD - everyone just adores her! And for once I didnt burst into tears when the teacher told me what a polite, well mannered, helpfull, joyfull girl I have. Its been a struggle since her Dad and I split 3 yrs ago, but she is well above average now. And has really blossomed since Sept. DS is also improving in certain areas, and has done better than expected in his practise SATS - however - as usual - he is easily distracted and pokes his nose into other people's business when it doesn't concern him, which is causing issue's as school!

Just having a sandwich, then after, a well deserved soak in the bath, early to bed (i hope)

    Goodnight All
    Love Emma xxx

    That'll be the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge :D

We were in Northern Ireland last summer for 2 weeks and went to the rope bridge on one of the hottest days of the year (over 30 degrees). Walking back the path I thought I was going to need an oxygen tank - there was not a lick of air

However this goes to show how "slow" I can be at times. It was once I crossed over the bridge that I realised I had to cross it a second time to get back :wall:

Evening all - I do enjoy skimming this thread and "catching up" with all that's going on. Interested in the posts about detective fiction. Am I the only
OS-er who still rereads D L Sayers, Marjorie Allinghamd & Ngaio Marsh? Also PD James? Guess it's my age!

Evening, less eventual evening today, so far anyway.

Just about getting ds's room organised for his return, I hate sorting!
Must get it cleaned before he returns, as won't be able to get in and find the floor while he is home!

At least I know in 4 weeks it will be blitzed again.

Glad you are enjoying your hols Aussie-lass.
    Also enjoyed the shamu too.

((((hugs))) all round, hope you are OK today Moggins, TM and CCstar
