Afternoon!!
Aime thanks for that i saw ad on tv last night for no 7 offer at boots and have piggypoint vouchers burning a hole in my pocket LOL Cheers!
Well so far i have
1-hoovered car and checked air on tyres.
2-preaped chicken dinner for tea.
3-made shep pie for tea tommorow
3-made musroom and cheese meatballs for sat tea.
4-Had a coffee and chat with my friend.
5-Done last load of washing which is now on line.
6-cleaned fridge and used up everything that needed using-hence cheese in meatballs and used stale bread for crumbs.
7-cooked maceral (sp) to make fish pie for dh at work 2mororow
So feeling pretty pleased with myself!!
Just having 5 on here, dd is asleep at min and then off to put washing away and hoover upstairs.

Hello!
I don't think I've posted on this forum for over a year. But this week I have unlimited access to the internet as am doing some office temping work. My only role is to answer the phone which has rung a sum total of about five times since nine this morning. This might sound like a dream come true but actually I am bored stiff - I've organised my finances to within an inch of my life, read every news blog on the planet and spent about three hours on wikipedia planning a fictional expedition across Siberia - so if anyone has any suggestions on good websites let me know!

I am back on MoneySavingOldstyle as have decided that I really should overcome my phobia of using the communal kitchen in my halls (professional type halls not student ones - therefore the kitchen is full of extremely random people all the time!) and actually cook something. Dare I admit that I moved in over six months ago and yet I have never been in there - I know you are all horrified right now! This partly due to the fact that I normally work in catering and work horrific hours, therefore I get given food on site. Thought I might start my own DIY cooking experience with a nice cake probably chocolate - in fact I used to have an obsession with old rationing recipes - so maybe I'll look up a recipe for beetroot chocolate cake or something...now there's a challenge!

bargain-rzl this charity work your doing sounds really interesting. A bit similar to the post natal depression support I once helped run in Birmingham, we used t offer our services and help new mums get into some sort of routine. It was hard work, but I also found it was my therapy to help me to help others!

loobyloo I fely exactly the same when we had to empty my Nanna's bungalow as she was going into a nursing home. A lot of the things the family sold, luckily I read the ad's in the paper, and recognised my auntie's number, so I managed to save some items rather than it go to strangers. A lot of things did get sold before the family had a chance to "bicker" about it. A lot of my african ornaments I brought for her when I was posted in Kenya, was sold without asking me for 1st refusal of them. They're not worth anyting to others - only sentimental value to me!

Well Im back from work, and Im so pleased thats another day done! It really dragged! Plus being tired doesn't help. Systems was down for the first hour!

Still feeling rough, headache, dry,sore & tickly throat! Hope its not the start of something.

Got parents evening later. Not looking forward to that. DD always gets a glowing report, but I dread DS's. Allthough he has knuckled down this yr, there is still plenty of room for improvement. But I never push him, he can only learn what he takes in.

Right best be off and iron uniforms for work/school tomorrow.
