I'm sooo disappointed to say that despite tons of prep and hours of clearing...it was a bit of a let down!!! Apparently there was a big religious festival on Sunday and as a result the car boot was really quiet...! Argh!

Only made £50 ish but hubby and I had such a giggle...we'd never done anything like that before and we had some quality time together if nothing else!

Thanks all for the good luck wishes though!

The news of the day is.....combined eBay successes, car boot earnings, overpayments and generally being super good has pushed our total up to a grand.....£2468.69!!!!! How cool is that!!!! 6.7% cleared!!!!
    :T:T:T:T
Can't wait for the credit card to be cleared...if we keep this up I'm confident I can clear it by Xmas and then move onto the next debt!!!

I'm focussing on coming under budget for everything and then clearing debt with any left overs....for example this month I've dropped the shopping weekly budget to £75 from £80 (nice and slow so I stick to it!) and this week I spent just £73.12. As soon as I got home I sent a FP of £1.88 of the debt!!!!

    It all adds up! :D

Great going! Anything is possible for those who believe. Are you budgeting anything for Christmas? Hate to bring it up this early but I'm starting to think I want everything done so there's no scary last minute rush!

Hi ya...it's good to have you back!!! :T

Honestly...I've ebayed everything that isn't nailed to the floor!!! Old kids clothes that were hardly worn...the expensive buggy that I couldn't afford at the time but bought anyway...old car seat that was the best in class but I shouldn't have bought cos I couldn't afford...old kids shoes...clothes that I've hardly worn...old kids toys! I've even put on there my sisters bridesmaids dress from my wedding...well it'll never been worn again will it?!

Trust me Ive sold everything I've put on there! You really need to do it...I've made £150 this month alone and I've 18 items still on there! In addition to that I've cleared out the loft and every room in the house..even the shed outside and everything that's decent is now in the spare room! The mess is doing my head in which just serves to motivate me to get it on there and gone!

    It's quite therapeutic actually.....

Like me I'm guessing you too have stuff that was quite expensive and will be snapped up...don't expect to get the earth for everything you sell but someone will buy...it's quite satisfying!

Keep me posted on how you do..bet you do amazing with it!
