Hey everyone...October is already here and it's been a good few weeks...4 months since my LBM and over £4000 paid off..roughly 11% of what we owe.. I'm quite proud of how far we've come..

Still a £260 hole in the emergency fund but have decided on next pay I'll pay less off debt to put this back in the fund...I feel too nervous without this safety blanket.

So as we head towards our first debt free Xmas ever....life feels good :T

    Happy Sunday all!

Hi all...it's been a really tough few months..lost my job, found a new one and its taken me a while to get my head round everything....hidden and dprovan..thanks for checking in on me....

Not quite sure how things are on the money front if I'm truthful...

But 2013 is going to be a lucky one im sure...will be back in touch soon when I've balanced everything out... But just reckoning things up in my mind I think we're just £400 worse off than we were before I lost my job..,so it could be a lot worse.....

    Anyhows...happy new year all xx

All added up and ready for the new year...things not as bad as I thought...disappointed with credit card balance but then it could be worse...pleased that in just 6 months 15% debt cleared...over 5k... It would be great to beat that this year...

    Happy new year all!!!

The quest continues...loan at 8.7% apr swapped for one at 5.7% term reduced by 2 years....saving me £3111 in interest over the term....am so super super chuffed...means I'm paying 36 pm extra to bring term to 3 years 6 months but I can make overpayments of any amount at any time and no early repayment charge so it's a great deal!!! Yay!!! :)
