Pay day Friday....I'm itching to get paid to make a nice OP.. Been reading lots of diaries on here to keep me motivated...it's inspiring what some have achieved! Decided to get myself one of those sealed money tins...plan is that every time I save some money I put the savings in the tin...then when it's full...that's another lovely OP.

All the advice on here points to snowballing...but I've been concentrating on clearing the smallest balance first ...however my credit card is 0%. Now I've swapped my personal loan to a new lower rate I can make overpayments...not sure what to do now.....just worried my motivation will wane if I don't clear credit card first.....any how's...off to battle the snow for a NSD !!!

Disappointed I failed on my mission today to have a NSD but only because DD1 lost her water bottle at school! So £3.00 spent today but I've updated my spending diary and counting the days until pay day on Friday...also have some expenses coming my way too so will make sure I make an overpayment to cc with that..

Also purchased the money tin and called a mini family meeting (we usually have these on a Sunday to review good behaviour and update reward charts etc) to explain what the tin was for and that any leftover or saved coins must go into the family savings...DD2 (she's only 4) was quick to say..."mummy I found this on the floor today...can this go in?"....5p later the tin duly christened...god bless her!!

Trying for NSD tomorrow..Wish me luck! :)

Achieved first NSD of the week today! Pay day tomorrow so a nice OP coming which will push me over 9k mark paid off ...

Given the snow fall...I'm guessing it will be another NSD!

Planning on making a PAD moving forward....however small!

Busy day ahead!! At some point I will get round to looking at what needs ebayng...but honestly..,I just can't face ebay at the mo!!
