02202 number?

I had a phone call today on my mobile from 02202, when I answered the call was cut off. I dont want to call it back in case its some sort of scam. But I have never heard of 02202. As I am an 02 Customer, im guessing it is somehow related, but ive never had a call from that number before and ive been with O2 for 6 years. Has anyone got any ideas where its from and who or what it is,or indeed if its a scam?

I keep getting calls on my mobile from 02202, when I answer it, they hang up. As I am an 02 customer I am assuming theres a connection, but it is really annoying me, as they call me every day. Does anyone out there know who this number belongs to?

Its a 3rd party saying there calling from O2 trying to give you extra minutes, there a bloody pain in the ar*e.

Sorry to rake up an old thread-but ive been having this problem for about a month or so now and is really annoying me now.

Why try ringing and then not speak/put phone down? Apparently you cant ring it back either-it isnt a recognised number!

I dont totally understand what these people are gaining from prank calling me several times a day? Can o2 do anything? I dont fancy having to change my number-a lot of hassle to then tell everyone my new number etc. And id be really annoyed if it happened to new number aswell!

i'v just had a call from this number they asked personnal details name, address, email then i got cut off when i tried to ring back i got numnber not reckognised so i phoned o2 and explained they said the number is not linked to them please do not answer this call they could be fraudsters

I Keep Gettin This Call Like 3 Time Aday I Answer It And They Hang Up After About 10 Seconds Im Going To Bar It Soon !

I just took a call from these guys. I put on my best intimidating voice and told the guy never to call me again. He hung up before I had the chance to breathe in again...I don't think they will be calling again for quite some time...
