Too young and fun loving for you / Female / Somewhere where its raining.

We all know what fun loving means.

Bet it resembles one of hulk hogans vests. It'd be like waving my man stick through the tattered curtains of a haunted house.

    Necessary?

Was just about to ask these guys to get a room already. Going a bit off topic here....

In fact I think I was the last person to post on topic and that was post 38....

    5t.
What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?

Just amused me because it reminded me of a certain recent thread. Didn't mean to cause offence.

You'll notice I didn't suggest who was who and which was the troll and which was the trolled.
  • Well now the OP is paying for something which someone else is obviously exaggerating about. I may be a 'piece of work', but now the OP is getting taken the p!ss out of for costs that he could of avoided. If I knew I had done significant damage, then yes, I'd stick about sort it out, but generally, car's are outdoor items and what happens is what happens. Its not nice, but its life!

And a big fat tongue out to all those people who don't like it.

    Go on... 'quote me'!

No one is exaggerating anything and no one is taking the p!!!. The third party mearly said their excess is £600 which is about normal for a hire car. It's a flat fee and doesn't depend on the amount of damage. They have then been very reasonable arranging to take the hire car to be repaired so the OP only has to pay for the damage caused rather than the excess. Therefore no one is unfairly out of pocket.

I'm sure this experience will result in the OP being much more careful around other people's cars. Unfortunately you don't seem to want to learn the same lesson - just because cars are outdoor items doesn't give you carte blanche to damage them even through carelessness. Many people take pride in their cars and would be angry and upset to find even small damage someone hadn't owned up to and therefore have to foot the bill themselves.
