I've tried and make use of these specials by shopping at the various places
-Nandos (Where I DID get my £10 back initially) [You spend £10+ and get £10 back from Amex)
-Primark (No Payment) [Spend £10.00+ and get £10.00 back]
-Tesco's (No Payment) [Spend £5.00+ and get £5.00 back]
-Bella Italia (No Payment) [Sped £10.00+ and get £10.00 back]
Im currently using a Lloydstsb Dual Avio Creditcard (Amex and Mastercard)
I've checked in at the various places like one should, and tried to 'load the deal to my card' (Which is one of the options)..yet to no avail (the last 3 places,I couldn't load the deal to my card, which I believe is a flaw from foursquare).
I've phoned both Lloydst and American Express who said that they wont be able to do anything.
So my next best bet is to get hold of Foursquare (which is where the problem comes in,since they do NOT have a phone number and only operates on a twitter based account)

After Leaving dozens of Negative Comments on Foursquare's twitter page (Making out that they are Con artists etc.)..they got back to me and the following was said from both sides)
Hi Marius,
I'm sorry you're having trouble redeeming Amex specials. So we can help best, can you tell me what type of phone/OS you're using foursquare on?
Thanks,
David

Hi there David and thanx again for the reply.
In regards to the problem that Foursquare is experiencing with blackberry is understandable, but my problem comes in where I've spend the money at the various places. (I've only spend the cash, due to the fact that I was expecting a cash back from Amex..which I didn't since the App was NOT working like it should, and is down to Foursquare.)
If there is problems that is attached to blackberry users ,it should made made clear, and Not give false impressions. (Rather state that Blackberry users will temp not be able to make use of the service, till the problem has been rectified.)
The only way that this can be sorted out is,by providing me with the money (cash back) that I'm entitled to from Amex.
I've spoken to Amex directly and they said it something that foursquare is liable for.
Please can you sort this out, since it would be much appreciated.
Kind Regards

Marius -
I understand your frustration. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to offer any monetary compensation for these issues - only Amex or the stores can provide that.
I do apologize for the hassle this caused.
Best,
David

Hi there David.
Please take Note that I've spend the last 3 days getting in contact with Amex (I spoke to a Derick,Johny,Martin,Susan,Peter, and Lucas),trying to sort the problem out.
Amex has adviced me that foursquare is responsible for the problem, since they are the organisation that make these type of deals happen.
And as you've said, there has been some technical problems for Blackberry users (Which is down to foursquare, and NOT Amex as you would agree),which has lead to the problem that I'm having NOW.
I surely believe that there is something that Foursquare will be able to do in order to rectify the problem that I'm facing.
(Some sort of amendment to the times that I've "checked" in and to manually load (since I was not being made able to do it myself,as the problem was with the foursquare and the technical problems that you guys have had with BB users),so that the transactions together with the times that I've checked in and "loaded the deal" to my card can be manipulated...which will eventually result in me getting my "cash back" from Amex.
Enjoy the rest of your day and hear from you soon.
Kind Regards

FOLLOW UP ON WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING
I just got off the phone with American Express.
(Spoke to a "Chris" - Extention Number 63869 [Leeds Office])
And He told me that there has been some issues with both Amex and Foursquare, and that Amex do take Note Of this, and that they are currently working on it,and the problems and issues has been send on to the various departments.
He said that I need to get back in touch with Amex within the next 10 Days,to see if there has been any progress regarding this issues.0 -

After speaking to Chris at the Leeds branch from Amex,I thought that I'll give it another go,and phoned Amex yet again.
Spoke to a very polite lady (Not something I can say about Lloydstsb) "Sarjil" (Also from the Leeds Office),who advised me that I need to get in contact with Lloydstsb since they deal with the Avios Dual Creditcards (Matercard and Amex) and that they Need to reimburst me for the funds that one is entitled to,since they (Amex itself) CAN'T look into my account since it is a Lloydsts Credit Card, and I'm having an account with Lloydstsb.
Got on the phone to Lloydsts afterwards, where I spoke to one REALLY rude cow (believe me when I say that she was Rude),who eventually managed to disconect my call since she was unable to help out (which didn't surprise me at all)
I phoned up Lloydstsb AGAIN (After my call got disconected) and spoke to a "Kerry",who told me that I need to get in contact with Amex since they are the people who is running the Deal together with Foursquare..
I told "Kerry" that Amex cant do anything since my account is with Lloyds and NOT Amex, after which she told me that Amex need to send through the various documentation over to Lloyds so that they have the Authority to give me my money back ( Kerry couldnt provide me with a Fax Number to where these documentation needs to be send to,since she herself doesnt know who is going to deal with the Problem...HAHAHAHAH):mad:0 -
I went to Wandsworth Pizza Express in order to make use of the advertised offer however there was no 'special' displayed on the app (despite what has been advertised) and once I had checked in there was no option to 'load to card'.
My phone is a Saumsung Omia 7 (Windows).0 -
Can confirm that supplementary card holders qualify for a second set of bonuses. Have now had a load credited to my wife's account.0
