    I've been Money Tipped!
Anyone had their House of Fraser money arrive yet?

I spent £10+ 8 June, checked in and loaded to card and everything.

Still no credit in the account.

Wondered if they are particularly slow compared to other retailers or if I should chase with foursquare.
Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
  • I had my £10 from House Of Fraser refunded back to my Amex card within a couple of days of making a purchase.

To add to the above discussion:

I had some problems when trying my amex at Nandos a few weeks back. Mine is the cashback one.

Anyway, it all got sorted. Seemed like a problem with the 4Square app. I tried it at Primark, Nando's, Tesco and Pizza Express last week. Got the credit for all of them. Anyone got a list of all the shops on offer?

While the Tesco neear me showed as on offer last week, this week there is no offer. So some retailers are being added/removed.

Always had great service from Amex. Keep it up.

I have made three transactions and only one has been successful. I have tried following up with Four Square on their twitter account, but we seem to go around in circles.

Has anyone successfully received support from Four square or Amex? Did they pay on a transaction that had not been automatically paid? If anyone has details on who they contacted I would appreciate it.

Yes, I got mine through. Took about 3 days I think.

Can anyone confirm if House of Fraser, Tesco and Primark are the only 3 retailers participating? I couldn't find a list anywhere other than MSE. Thanks.

I believe so, I have once 'loaded' in one location, didn't manage to spend striaght away. Later (weeks) try to 'load' in another location, system responded as 'already loaded', spent the qualified amount, credit came through a few days later. This suggests as long as you 'load' before the purchase and before the offer expiry (15 Aug 2012), you will get the credit regardless of location.
  • I've also discovered that the Foursquare Amex check-in offer is available at La Bottega, a small chain of four Italian delis in Central London (South Kensington, Belgravia, Chelsea and Ryder St). The deal is spend £5 and get a £5 Amex credit, which is enough to buy a large salad, or a sandwich or cake and a coffee - see their price list.
