I was wondering if any more companies would join the scheme and how it would be communicated. I assume that as they want to get people using the foursquare app more, then you will only see the new deals in the app, but thanks to MSE we can all share what we find. :-)

brilliant app, have used it successfully at Nandos, Tesco, Primark, Bella Italia and Pizza Express.
Was thinking I would use it in New York in a few weeks but then remembered that the Lloyds TSB AMEX card is rubbish for spending abroad. I have an Aqua card now for spending in USA.

Yes correct. You have you log into foursquare and it shows you the details.

For example the Primark one says:

"Check-in Special 5/24/2012Use your synced Amex Card: Spend £10 or more in one purchase at Primark through August 15 2012 and get a £10 statement credit. Limit 1 statement credit per Card."

Once checked in and loaded on card, is there a limit when you have to complete the purchase??

a lot of the deals have gone .. just tried to use strada and its ganoe so walked past, tescos and pizza express .. also gone

gone? i checked in at strada last night. however i didn't 'load' it to my card because i was actually across the road at cafe rouge! however the deal looked aas though it was available..

Some of the deals don't seem to be available at all locations. Not sure if something changed or if it was always like this.

You can search online on foursquare.com for Strada and some locations show the Amex special offer, but many of them don't.

If you take Primark or Nando's they shows up on all locations.
