I thoroughly enjoyed it but wish they'd focused more on the boats and less on stupid bits at the side of the river. I don't think we got to see any of the Small Dunkirk Boats section, for example, whereas there were lots of repetitive shots of the Commonwealth boats and rowers at the top of the processions.

Pity about the flypasts being cancelled, but the cloud cover was very low - the shard building was in cloud!

There's some horse show on ITV now celebrating the Queens Jubilee, they are from Azerbajan!! Not even from the commonwealth!!

    Very impressive though

I give up, I'm off to make myself a coronation chicken sandwich ( derived from the Raj in India) and will tune in to Will-I-Am tomorrow along with Kylie, Madness etc at the gig outside Buck Palace'

    & I'm gonna have a Mc Donalds

I just wonder what people were expecting?

The event as I understand it is celebration of life on the Thames in the last 60 years, with all the different boats that that would include, taking its inspiration from a similar event captured on canvas - Canneletto (?)

It did get a bit repetitive boat after boat after boat, would've preferred interviews of people who had come to watch - where from, arrived when and why, etc.

Nevertheless, made me proud to be British
I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard

You could always zap through the ships on the Thames, fast forward it - it's boring and as another poster said, underwhelming.

But do watch what I am now,the show from Windsor - it's fantastic - really enjoyable!!.:)

I found the pagaent a bit tedious to watch, gave up about 30 mins in and went off and did something less boring instead. Currently half heartedly watching Gary Barlow putting together a song for the queen, enjoying himself travelling round the commonwealth. He is currently in some royal obsessed crazy ausies living room.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.
