Have to say I thought the whole thing looked incredibly amateur (everything that is not just the coverage of it). I know there was adverse weather but heck it's Britain, adverse weather is our weather - surely we could have thought of something to put that to our advantage?

Before I even mentioned how dull, bland and boring it all looked to me, my boyfriend piped up how bad it looked as well. I'm thinking any people from or in other nations who saw that will be either sniggering at how bad it was or annoyed they wasted their money coming to see it.

Well that so many millions tuned in from around the whole wide world it was far from a spectacular event.

Hope the Olympics will be better and worth the money spent, that people will really remember the occassion, regardless of the weather.:eek:

Oh Goodness gracious me! I despair at every attempt the English do to impress the wider world -God on a bike!!:rotfl:

Yeah!! & he's so overwhelmed by the opportuntiy of it all.

You wouldn't believe how excited he is about it - he has become, by some overt reason - a true representative of what being British is all about!!!

In fact - if Harry had flown an Apache down the Thames today, over the Queen's Gondola, it would have been a memerable occassion.!!!

The trouble is, the royals are very English.. but very dull to watch. We need the aliens to liven it up a bit :rotfl:

I am a bit underwhelmed with all this Jubilee malarky, tbh.
