Apolgies if this has been asked before but I can't find a definite answer.
What are the call charges for 0845 & 0870 numbers on justdialsaver? I have just switched onto their lite package because of the free evening & weekend calls.
Thanks,

Voyager2002. If you switch to 1899 your call would be free and not cost you 0.5p a minute.

I have attempted to sign up to use 1899 with no success. Each time ( I made two attempts over the past six weeks) I recieved an email saying that the subscription had failed due to lack of capacity. Is this a regional problem? I live in the York area ( North Yorkshire ). Have any moneysavers experienced this problem? I find that it is becoming difficult to place calls using 18866 as I often get the engaged tone, so I assume that their call carrying capacity is reaching saturation point on my local exchange.0

As always, the 'work around' is to sign up using a mobile number and, when the confirmation e-mail arrives, log into your account and add your landline number (and delete the mobile number if you want).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

Have been with JDS for over a year and in the past their e-mail replies have eventually come through - although I will admit hardly ever in their promised 2 working days!! but I guess with all the new queries raised by Martin's recent recommendation that they are completely swamped!!
I have tried (along with many others I'm sure!) to get current NGN and peak/off peak times but have not had any responses after the automatic replies.
I have worked out the following prices charged by JDS in July and August but I can't guarantee that they are current now!
Monday 27 June midday to 0845 - 10' 12" 31.2p +Vat = 36.6p = 3.59p per minute
Wed 29 June 8.10am to 0870 - 1' 05" 7p +Vat = 8.2p = 7.61p per minute
29 June 8.17am to 0870 - 6' 04" 38.8p +Vat = 45.6p = 7.52p per minute
30 June 13.50 to 0870 - 4' 20" 27.7p +Vat = 32.5p = 7.51p per minute
Fri 1 July 17.50 to 0845 - 5' 04" 15.5p + Vat = 18.8p = 3.59p per minute
These seem to be fairly steady and were charged to me by JDS0 -
Anybody had in luck with their 0844 prices.I know their sister company Onetel charge more then BT.PF.0

            I posted this on the
UK's Cheapest Home Phone Calls Provider/MoneySavingExpert.com Discussion thread too - sorry but not sure which was the best one, as they are both covering very similar queries!
Help please!
Just when I thought it was all settled they change prices again!!
Could anyone confirm or shoot down my current guess on the best way to set up my Orchid dialler to get the best Money Saving set up for my phone use?
I am planning on -
Daytime peak
Evening
Weekend
Local...............1899 0p 3p cnx.......Just Dial free..........Just Dial free
01/02...............1899 0p 3p cnx......Just Dial free..........Just Dial free
Mobile...............18185 5p .............18185 5p..............18185 2p
0845.................dialaround* 2p.......BT 1p..................BT 1p
0870.................18185 4p .............BT 3.95p..............BT 1.5p
* the dialaround number of 0844 4626868 then needs you to enter the full INTERnational code so I guess that would need 0044845xxxxx?
Can anyone confirm that, and secondly is there any way of setting up the dialler so you just enter the normal 0845 number?
Of course you do not need to have a dialler to use these -, but it makes life a little easier!
Many thanks!0
