Hello hello, I'd like to join in this month. My month will run from 1-29 Feb and I'm budgetting £100. I budgetted that for this month and have spent £90.39 so far, so I think its doable. This is for me, DD14 and BF who stays at the weekend.0

... so this month do i budget for cleaning stuff and dog food or do i keep to the same Food/Freezer only. i have started to use the spending dairy so this will probably help me to work things out better next month what do i do ??
Its entirely up to you what you include in your grocery challenge. The thing is to be consistent. If you're using the saving.com site that will help with the breakdown of spend wont it? My budget covers food, cleaning, laundry. I also include the cost of a fish and chip lunch each week with my elderly rellie (we take it in turns to pay).
Lil_me, my budget for February is £80 - thanks... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Hi Lil_me
Please count me in for the February challenge at £100 That's for 3 adults and I count in toiletries and cleaning materials as part of my grocery shopping.
I work on a first to last day of each month basis, but am certain to come in under budget for January and still have loads of food in the cupboards.
Good luck everyone :beer:I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.
