    Hi all
lil_me please put me down for £160 for February.

This is for everything, food, cleaning stuff, toiletries, cat food and dog food.

The freezer budget is also included this time instead of being seperate.
I`m off to go back and read the rest of the thread now.
    Good luck everyone:D

  • Hi guys

My budget is increasing for feb - bizarre i know, i should be reducing it as part of the challenge and it's a shorter month, however i need to do big shop this month, still hoping to bring it under budget though.

I still potentially have 3 shopping days left of jan challenge, but have declared my expenditure now, so no more spending, i will eat out of the freezer if it kills me.

Lil_me could you put me down for £100 for Feb please

    Thank you

Am going to sign up again for this one....came in dead on budget in January so am going to stick to the same kind of ideas and recipes this month but try to be a bit more economical with portion sizes (for wallet and waistline!:o)

This month i'm aiming for £280 - from Jan 25 till Feb 26th.
    :D

Am off to find more inspiration with recipes, good luck all!!

I have decided to set my target at £200 for February as I will use my Nectar points for the first shop. My month starts on 31st Jan as I usually shop on Thursdays for the following week and ends on 28th Feb. I don't have much in the freezer but still have plenty of cereal and flour and cleaning stuff, so I'm hoping I can stick to it this time!

Good luck everyone - especially all newbies.

I'm in again! My last month ended on Friday, and I've already been shopping! Sadly I went to Budgens and spent about £30, so I'm already into the Feb budget. I'll ferret out the receipts to edit my sig later.

    £60 for this month please.

 Ok i need some help. i set my target for Jan expecting to come under as i only joined mid Jan i have spent £154.59 so think considering what i would have had left for a full month that wasn't to bad.
Now my questions - my spend was on food/freezer only. so this month do i budget for cleaning stuff and dog food or do i keep to the same Food/Freezer only. i have started to use the spending dairy so this will probably help me to work things out better next month what do i do ??

  • Hi can i join please. Iv'e been following this challenge for a bit and have set myself a budget £20 under last month's to make it £180 for the month. This is to include all lunches, teas etc for 2 adults and 2 bottomless pit teenagers and a very active 92 year old who likes to eat with us a couple of times a week. I also have a birthday tea included in total.
