  • Hi Lil-me.

I would love to join the February grocery challenge. I kept up with the January one but never actually posted, and managed to come £2.99 under my goal for the month, so am very pleased.

This month I'd like to allocate £40, it is for one and I have a large freezer and cupboard stocks that I am working on finishing. I did a big shop yesterday, some baking flours etc and spent £ 21.04 which is ok as I now have enough milk and everything else for the month, I buy boxed longlife milk and have 5 of those now and all baking stuff. Will only need to buy fruit occasionally so am quite happy with that.

Good luck to everyone and thanx for this challenge, it really helps to focus the mind.

Yesterday when I went into ASDA they overcharged me by £1 and I knew they had as I add up stuff on my phone as I go along, stops me from buying rubbish. I told the cashier and she told me to go to customer service, which I did and got a £1 refund, they charged me for 4 items instead of 3, they must have thought I was a nutter, adding up my stuff lol, but hey at least that's £1 in my pocket, not theirs.

    Cheers
