I'm not sure if turning it into a stew with swede etc would work
I`ve finally managed to get the recipe off the poorly pc.
It`s an adaptation of an old slimming world recipe and if the lamb is used it`s free on a red day, don`t think the gravy will make much difference though.
Curry
1lb - 454g Lamb steak I use 2 tins of stewing steak + the gravy
1 Onion
3 Garlic cloves
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Ground coriander
1tsp Ground ginger
1 tsp Chilli powder
1 tim chopped tomatoes
1 Bay leaf
1 tsp cinnamon
4 cardomon pods
4 Cloves
Half a pint of stock
Sweetner or sugar to taste - i use 1 level dessert spoon
Fry the onion and garlic then throw everything else in the pan, bring to the boil and simmer for half an hour, i usually bulk it out with red lentils and diced potatoes but cook it for longer then until everything is soft. It also cooks well just throwing everything in the slow cooker.
Sorry it took so long to get the recipe.

Well done everyone, we still have many spaces after targets for this month, if you just don't want to be part of it you don't need to post them but please post them if you wish to be included. I will wait until the end of March before I delete those I have added which haven't been back, save it looking so untidy when we are looking back to see how well we've all done. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Overbudget for me. Came in at £379.45
Hopefully better next month!0 -
Hello moneysavers,
Our total for the month came in at 303.31, so only just over, and that includes the wholefood order.
This months target will be £300 again, but it will be a short month because I run Friday to Friday to make it easier with the cash drawn out weekly.
