Jacks, best wishes to you and your family.

Thank crunchy it's the end of February!:j Lil' Me total spend for February £179.87 out of £250, thanks. I'm totally delighted that I managed to come in £70 under but tbh towards the end it was virtual money as I had some unforeseen expenses mid-month!

Running off to catch up with the March thread, see you all there!

    May Grocery Challenge £244.58/£300
  • just had my first Mr T delivery since before Christmas (just shows how much I used to stockpile:rolleyes:), any way it was £104.11, so now Lil'me I can declare my February total as £234.44 which is £34 over, but I'm well stocked up for March now and I was way under in January so I'm really pleased with how much I've saved..
MrsMC please put me down for £200 again for March
And thanks to both of you for managing the boards.:T
  • Almost the end of Feb and I am underbudget! WooHOo!!

I would like to declare my total for Feb as £124.45 please, thank you.

I spent 25p today on bread, and tomorrow is the start of my March budget.
  • Lil me - I've finished at £164.36, from my £160 budget. Thanks.

Not too bad for my first month, and the cupboards haven't been as well stocked in ages. Is it wrong that I'm really excited about next month
    :j
Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!
  • Well after thinking I was doing alright for February my budget got messed up! So the final amount for the month was £316.32 - so I'm £16.32 over budget. However, on the bright side if I wasn't keeping an eye on it goodness knows what it would have been! Good luck for March everyone. I've already requested £300 to be stated as my amount for 29th February - 28th March. See you all on the 'March' thread.:j

Lil_me my final amount for Feb is £189.83.

I am so pleased with myself that on my first month of the grocery challenge I have managed to come in under budget.:j

This has been especially good as yesterday OH had his car serviced and the bill was £486:eek: - Trouble is he needs it in good nick as he has a 56 mile round trip to work every day.

Now all I have to do is keep up the momentum - no choice really as I have to cut back to survive but I know it wouldn't be possible without the help of all of you - thanks so much:A
  • me too i came under budget and cupboards are stocked for next month which is going to be tight. I am going for the same amount £180 for March.
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:
  • £1.22 to spare from a £100 budget. Really pleased with myself as I normally set £120 and decided to tighten the purse a little more. I now know it can be done but boy, my freezer is bare!
Going to do the same next month too.

Well done to those who surprised themselves, keep at it those who didn't quite make it. Live and learn.
