Rising might be able to help with this - do PP guarantee to keep increases in premiums to rate of inflation or did I dream that?

If changing its worth also looking at the dental cover, most do trauma only but PP do cover for pretty much all dental work (as do Pet Protect, but highest cover is only 6k).

I'm not sure that it's a guarantee but it has never had huge jumps like Ar*gos are proposing!

They do guarantee not to put your premiums up just because you've made a claim - which I can vouch for with the earlier mentioned cat.

To me - it looks like Ar*gos have done this - otherwise why has George's premium gone up so much more than the other boy cats?

I'm pretty sure dental treatment is only covered if you've had the annual check and had any work done (eg teeth cleaning) if required - I know routine teeth cleaning isn't covered

OK, going to call PetPlan and possibly move 4 out of the 5 cats over to them.
The quote I got was inclusive of the 10% online discount and £5 multipet discount......
I need to do the 2 weeks overlap with covers though so will not be cancelling Argos till PP is in place for 2 weeks..

£77.21 as it is with Argos for Macius, Fiona, Phoebe, Teddy and Fred. But Macius due for reneval in November so that would catch up with PP quote of £88.32

But that excess REALLY worries me to be honest...

    So confused now... :(

Ops. PP is actually 90.06 - I had Teddy's cover set as lover 4k, no good, adjusted now Reddy and the rest all to 7k per year and it comes up with 90.06. Sigh.....

Ok just moved them.... done over the phone and opted out for 1st month free rather than 10% discount. So they all insured with PP from today, fiorst month free and then...... 100.06 per month for 5 cats: Teddy, Fred, Macius, Fiona and Phoebe. Fiona and Phoebe are my daughter's cats but we insure all together......

Ok, so just dreading now Zara's insurance hike with Argos... in October.....

    :(

Juat wanted to have all of them under one policy to keep it simple.

Left Zara and George with Argos as both had claims/pre-existing but moved other 5 cats to PP.

Just cancelled Argos for the 5 too, yes I know I should keep them crossed over for 14 days but that way would pay twice in one month and really can not afford it.

All 5 are (fingers crossed) ok, never any problems and "accident" is covered from day one, ilness after 14 days so just fingers crossed none get unwell in the next 14 days.. sigh....

Yup, massive amount of money BUT I remember how much George's op was, how much Zara's op was and do not want to risk not having them insured....

Excess is 85 with PP, was 65 with Argos but....

Very tired today, can nto think straigh - just done sme online quotes and everyone comes with a very similar price - complete utter nightmare to be honest.

Never used Quido, no idea how to do it via them.. If I decide to switch to Petplan will ask someone to tell me how...

Really not sure as their excess scares me.. 105 excess is very high....

That excess is high.. I am with PP for the two Bengals and their excess is only £65? I wonder why yours is more?
