I'd just like to say that I'm sitting here with a Waitrose bag tied around my hair! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I found a long hair care forum and they suggest making a deep conditioning treatment so I'm giving it a go (1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel and 4 tablespoons of a silicone free conditioner - you zap it in the microwave for a few seconds so that the honey doesn't lighten your hair ). If it works it's going to be a brilliant way to UU my stash of not-quite-right conditioner :D (Goodness knows what my parents are going to say when I see them! :rotfl:)

Got the Revitalist BB samples today they are medium so no use to me going straight to my sister.

Managed to get a bargain today though Boots Baby large cotton wool pads pack of 80 (baby ones tend to be cheaper than ones in beauty section) they had a clearance sticker on them saying £1.40, but notice the shelf sticker said reduced to £1.10, so sales assistant gave me them for 60p. Also paid with points so cost nothing.

I will! It's ridiculous  It's amazing how many bad stories I've been told about Selfridges. It's amazing that they can get away with it...I'm glad that Harrods were nicer to you :) My experience of buying a couple of things at Liberty was perfect - the Shu Uemura lady was lovely - absolutely sweet and helpful despite the fact that I was only buying a couple of sale items :) It should be a treat to deal with these department stores.

I think that saving up your Boots points for one special thing is a great idea. :D 'June' is a perfect Summer colour (and cheering for all the grey days that we're having :o)

Yes yes! Liberty ladies were quite lovely! ITA!
I think if you spend £1 or £1000, you should be treated as a wanted customer. Some people really forget that it is OUR money that allow them to have the job they are doing. sheesh lol

I <3 June, surprisingly so as I'm a bit of a odd colour type of gal.

  • Finally a UU!

Virgin Vie 500ml connosieur bath cream - someone gave this to me, and I was skeptical but it ended up being an amazing bath cream. I thought it was going to smell foody but it was quite a clean scent. WNBA as I'm always buying different kinds of bath cream, but it was lovely while it lasted.

my LIB box arrived tbh have only heard of Occitane!so no idea what the other stuff is like or worth tho it did say over £40!they are mostly small sizes so ideal for my holiday:)

Thank you so much Rosemary - had a card through from postman saying there was a parcel for me but was at a total loss as to what it might be - didn't think I'd ordered anything!! What a short memory I have! Oh that'll be lovely tomorrow then.

I've had a vile day at work today and popped home at lunchtime to find a baby bird with a broken wing in the front, was really upset as feeling rubbish anyway due to work but RSPCA have been for him now so hopefully he'll be ok.

Work has been so horrid, does anyone else feel like its not worth having a couple of days leave as when you go back its just not worth the stress of trying to catch up with what's up to where?? I quite often have loads of work randomly dumped my desk etc and I always make a point of letting my boss know where everthing is upto before I go on leave but don't really get the same courtesy extended back to me so quite often haven't a clue what's happening with our staff!! Suffice to say the poorly bird tipped me over the edge and I was in tears by lunchtime :o The afternoon was an improvement thank goodness.

Two pats on the back in order, one a little OT which was not giving in and having any chocolate today which is my usual first line of defence against stressful situations! Holiday firmly in mind :T

The second, and this is impressive ladies, went to watch a film yesterday at Cheshire Oaks while we were both off and the weather was so rubbish and of course had a quick look around the shops whilst we were there, would be rude not to! Went in L'Occitane, TBS and Molten Brown and, although very sorely tempted, came out completely empty handed! :A Having OH in tow did help though as he likes to stand in the doorway sulking which has the effect of hurrying me along a bit :rotfl:

VALM I did spot Coconut body butter in TBS but not sure on the Shea, I think those were the two you mentioned. They had lots of different 'flavours' and plenty of tempting stock!

This is the link for the Elemis set for Sunday
Elemis 5 Piece Tranquil Indulgence Face & Body Collection.
http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.as...ms.item.200194 but if you just type the item number in on the website it doesn't show!!

Wow, they have that on sale early! This is brilliant value Fiasco if you are after the bath and body care as well as skincare. The cost of the kit is £10.00 less than the cost of the moisturiser on its own (ooh I could get a job at the Q!). I passed on it last time and will pass again because I don't like the cleanser and am drowning in bits and bots of Elemis bath and body care as it is (from previous kits). If you prefer a kit that has more bath/body care in it than that Debenhams are selling this kit which is dearer than the TSV but you still are only paying for the moisturiser and getting the other items for free.

As soon as it arrives I intend to do a spread sheet and mark up the ONLY items I will be allowed to buy for the rest of this year, I shall need much wagging of fingers from you girls if I look like weakening please:):):). Now off to *bay to delete things I have been watching.

    That's a good plan maddiemay.
Another UU to declare which I think will be my last this month as I am off to stay with my friend tomorrow so will be using my overnight toiletries. 2 sleeps to Ragdale now :j :jthink I need to do 2 jumps as v excited!

    Anyway, the UU is:
Liz Earle energising body wash - Mr KM has been using this - I love the scent but am ploughing on with the S&G LHJ one and I know he won't like the smell of that. Will need to fish something out for him tonight to UU instead. I love LE body washes but have no need for any shower gels, probably for the next 5 years, so won't be buying again any time soon but these are on my list of favourites.

Your Ragdale hall stay sounds very exciting.

Has Mr KM ever tried the LE body wash for men. MrM uses it and it smells gorgeous. I like the original one but not the energising one.

Hi emsjune, thanks so much for your post re Cheshire Oaks TBS. Sorry you had a bad day at work yesterday. I'm the same when I have time off. I had 4 days off in April and the only outstanding piece of work I left my boss said she would deal with. It was waiting for me when I got back. I was chatting about my holiday yesterday and a comment of "2 weeks is too long to have off" was made. I'm determined not to think about it when I'm away though.

Well done on not eating choccie or spending on cosmetics. What film did you see?

I had no idea Melvita and L'Occitane were linked :) I was lucky and received the Youthful Day Cream (I'm pretty sure I have a sample of the Rose Nectar somewhere...) I'm really looking forward to trying it :)

I already use the Balance Me moisturiser - it's nice and simple so I use it over a serum at night. I'm still having to be careful with what I use on my skin as it's going red/irritable at the slightest thing (including water!). That is the main reason that I have to be patient and not open everything at once! :rotfl:

    UU

Tropic Skincare Skin Revive (10 or 15ml?) - nice but nothing special so WNBA
