No Buying Unnecessary toiletries in June

2 uu's here:
1. Fresh soy cleanser 4ml- WNBA it is ok for a gel cleanser, didn't leave my skin tight or dry but I much prefer oil/balm cleansers.
2. Korres wild rose 24 hr moisture cream- WNBA smells lovely but has left me with a very shiny face!
Also my THis Works 5 in1 cleansing water is spluttering. I didn't even realise it was near the end (stupid heavy packaging). Am really sad about this I LOVE it for removing make up and it smells amazing. Not sure what the 5 things it's meant to do are though and it is stupidly expensive.0 -
ilovecakes - La Roche Posay do a Micellar Solution for removing makeup which may be similar to your This Works, it smells really nice and is £11.50 at boots and often on 3 for 2. It does a fab job of dissolving makeup on contact.
I have 3 non bought in's given by a friend -
No7 Exceptional Definition mascara gwp size, my current one has nearly run out so pleased to get this.
No7 mini glitter eyeliner in green
No7 mini eyeshadow in Starry Lights - a lovely highlighter/base colour.
My eyeshadow stash is reaching epic proportions particularly cream/gold base colours and neutral brown colours.
After someone on here (I think) mentioned the MUA Heaven and Earth pallette I fished mine out and have used it today. They really are superb shadows, velvety soft, easy to apply and no fallout to speak of but I remember why I put it to one side - it is a beggar to open and dents my nail polish trying to pry it open. For £4 for 12 colours though it is fantastic.
Edit - when I say my current mascara had nearly run out I mean my current Exceptional Definition one which I love, not my only mascara. As if I will ever be down to just one mascara.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

My LiB box arrived as well
I'm happy with all of it. Pretty much a perfect skincare box for me. INs in white, below:
Etat Pur Micellar Cleansing Water (190ml)
Melvita Naturalift Youthful Skin Cream (15ml)
Murad Exfoliating Cleanser (30ml)
Balance Me Moisture Rich Face Cream (10ml)
L'Occitane Angelique Hydration Cream (15ml)
Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Complex (4ml)
I'm most excited about the Kiehl's as I've wanted to try it for ages.
I'm going to be good and finish using what I have open before trying anything, with the exception of the Midnight Recovery Complex.0 -
GA’s 15 items, lipsticks, eye pencils, eyeshadows, mostly gwp’s, plus 2 sets false nails all to CS.
All my make up, except a couple of new items which I have put away so I won't be tempted to open before I use up old stuff, now tidily stowed in top 2 drawers of my Helmer. All pencils sharpened ready to go (sounds like start of new term:rotfl:) Next job wash all the brushes. Daily stuff in make up bag, as I often put make up on in car while OH drives.

This is the link for the Elemis set for Sunday
Elemis 5 Piece Tranquil Indulgence Face & Body Collection.
http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.as...ms.item.200194 but if you just type the item number in on the website it doesn't show!!
I bought it last year and gave bath stuff as pressies, first 3 items are on my HG list. My cleanser will be a UU this week, and I am 2/3 through hand cream. I tried to order last night but couldn't and was just about to ring CS this morning and found I could order, so have done so.
As soon as it arrives I intend to do a spread sheet and mark up the ONLY items I will be allowed to buy for the rest of this year, I shall need much wagging of fingers from you girls if I look like weakening please:):):). Now off to *bay to delete things I have been watching.
Wow! It sounds like you're on a mission, Maddiemay :rotfl:
Well done for sorting your make up out so decisively :T:T
The Elemis offer is great. I would be tempted but I have plenty of the Pro Radiance Cleanser 'in stock' (my HG) so I think I'm safe to wait until the Jan sales :rotfl:
I hope that you're able to be out in your garden today?0 -
So here we are day 27.
Willowbee was the smooth hands cream part of a set? I've seen the sets on QVC before. I've used the Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners hand therapy cuticle cream before now. Not very effective but has a lovely fragrance.
Well done for reaching day 27  Almost there! :j
The hand cream was part of a set that I bought for half price (£12.50) a while ago:
http://uk.loccitane.com/almond-body-care-collection,83,1,29819,272559.htm
The almond hand cream is quite different to the Shea butter ones - it's lighter, almost like a gel but still creamy. I really enjoyed using it but my hands don't need that much moisture added so it might not be rich enough for other people. (I've only been using hand cream since joining you lovely ladies! :rotfl:)
The Almond Milk Concentrate is amazing :heartpuls. I'm using it to soothe my legs after I've shaved them. I'd buy it again but only if it was on a really good offer :rotfl:(It's £34 for 200ml! And I have a lot of body lotions to UU...:rotfl:)
Ha! I've just seen this on the L'Occitane site:
Tip: This product is ideal for nourishing skin after hair removal or shaving, due to a formula rich in soothing almond oil.
It's true (for once!)0 -

I'm happy with all of it. Pretty much a perfect skincare box for me.:)
Mine hasn't- anyone would think that we lived in the back of beyond on some remote Island rather than 26 miles from London as I am always behind with my Amarya box too. I am looking forward to the micellar cleanser as I keep seeing a lot about these - a bit like BB creams.
Another UU to declare which I think will be my last this month as I am off to stay with my friend tomorrow so will be using my overnight toiletries. 2 sleeps to Ragdale now :j :jthink I need to do 2 jumps as v excited!
Anyway, the UU is:
Liz Earle energising body wash - Mr KM has been using this - I love the scent but am ploughing on with the S&G LHJ one and I know he won't like the smell of that. Will need to fish something out for him tonight to UU instead. I love LE body washes but have no need for any shower gels, probably for the next 5 years, so won't be buying again any time soon but these are on my list of favourites.0 -

I was surprised to see my LiB box today. I hope that yours turns up tomorrow. It's worth waiting for
I hope that you have a lovely time at Ragdale Hall :j I also hope that you're able to sleep ok as you are looking forward to it so much! :rotfl:
The Micellar Water is full size and looks interesting. (I'm still using up a Taaj one from a Jolie Box but I might test the Etat Pur just once tonight to appease my curiousity...) Etat Pur have a completely new way of selling skincare - you fill out a profile and it recommends 'actives' for you to treat specific concerns. It looks great but I'm not buying anything until I've UU a great deal more of my skincare. (I think their prices are good as well - they are web only to keep costs down).0 -
Thanks for the link kiplingmonkey. The prices though IMHO are comparable to Debenhams at the moment. This is the link from that site to the kit that MrM bought me on Sunday which was the same price at Debenhams.

V nice set Valm - I agree about the prices - not much different to elsewhere. Still less tempting that way so maybe no bad thing..
Thanks for the link to the TSV Maddiemay - will be able to resist on Sunday as it is a repeat but will still add £5 to the SPC IPad fund though.0 -
