I've been using it for special occasions down the years and still have a bit left in the bottle. Firstly - how do you know if a perfume has gone off? It still smells ok to me but it's quite a few years old now.
Secondly, once I'm done with the bottle, being the hoarder I am I'd like to keep it and possibly do something with it. Any ideas for possible uses of an old perfume bottle? My husband tells me I'm being silly and just to chuck it, but...:(
This is what the bottle looks like:

Thanks guys
If the perfume smells ok to you then it's fineThey are meant to go off more quickly once you get past the halfway mark but I have some v old perfumes that are fine. (My L'Eau D'Issey went off though
)
I think it's a lovely idea to keep the perfume bottle as a nice reminder of your Nan. Could someone take the spray part out for you so you could use it as a bud vase? It looks like it'd be a great shape for that0 -

Thanks Willowbee, that's a great ideaAlready thinking of flowers I could put in it!
Hope you're doing ok, was thinking of your little cat over the weekend. :grouphug:"Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -
Moromir - that is the most exotic looking list of INs that I've ever seen :rotfl: I'm curious about all of them!
Hermia - you're a whirl of activity with your INs and OUTs at the moment! :rotfl: I hope that you enjoy all of your Nails Inc polishes
Kipling Monkey - you seem to be on a roll with outs this month :T
I'm on an Enjoy Your Stash month.I'll be happy if I manage any UUs but it's not my focus for June. I often find that I prefer things when I dig them out for a second time. Very strange :rotfl:It happened today with a Max Factor Gloss Balm that I was v unimpressed with when I bought it but quite like it now
Before I found all of you I was setting my own funny little targets like 'Body Lotion Of The Week' to make myself appreciate what I had :rotfl:I seem to do better if I rotate products (I was even happy to return to S&G Righteous Butter as I hadn't used it for ages!)
Having said all that I do have a UU to report:
62. Korres Quince Body Butter (50ml) - WNBA as I didn’t like the scent (I added rose geranium oil to it so I didn't mind using it up)0 -

One of our remaining cats has been walking around the house shouting whilst carrying a toy mouse in her mouth today.Very strange behaviour. She has settled into a box at the end of my bed now.

How funny!
I've been meaning to say that when I sold things on eBay most of the bids came though at the last minute. (I'm a last moment bidder as well) Do you have many people watching things?

TA Clinique mascara- WBA as I liked the texture and it made my lashes look fuller. Shame it did go a bit clumpy at the end. Even cleaned the wand as suggested here but alas it didn't work.
This is also my 400 UU!!
My HG Tigi texture paste is also spluttering. I have a few more in the stash. No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -

Don't worry about any sort of 'sell by date' on perfume: I had a drawer absolutely choc full of them (before this challenge! :rotfl:) and some of them were years old, but totally fine. If it's smells like it should, it will be fine.
As for what to do with the bottle, it's a toughie...I've seen people turn bigger bottles into lamps, and they look amazing, but with something so small you could never get the cable and everything in it. What about hang it as an ornament? You can get those crystals people hang from their windows, so maybe something like that? (That's as creative as I get, I'm afriad.)
Best of luck whatever you decide to do!Please call me 'Pickle'
