  • Well had another 1lb off at weigh in last week so 8.5lbs to go to target. Had a very naughty weekend food wise. Am back on it again today. Got on the scales this morning and was 2lbs up. I'm not weighing in this week as I am working on Thursday so hopefully I will have a good couple of weeks. I'd like to have 1lb off by Thursday week. Realistically that's the most I can hope for I think.

Christmas present shopping is not going too bad. I've about half the shopping done and need to wait till payday now to get the other half. I think I included absolutely everyone, including the sneaky ones that I end up forking out lots for at the time, like teachers, friends etc.

  • Forgot to post after my weigh in last week. So I lost 2lbs and have lost 1 stone in 7 weeks. 6.5lbs to my target. Not sure what I will weigh this week and I've had a tummy bug the past 2 days so could go one way or the other.

Thanks Abba. I'm delighted with myself. I didn't think it would come off that easy but sw really works! My next weigh in is tomorrow and am hoping for 2lbs. I had a tummy bug earlier on in the week so that's why I am being hopeful for such a big loss. Every cloud and all that....

Thanks Star. My target was Xmas but hoping to smash it in November which gives me a bit of leeway with Xmas parties etc.

Another 2lbs gone, so 4.5lbs to go. Am thrilled with myself. I also have gone into the next stone so feeling pretty chuffed.

Money wise things are okay. I am feeling on top of things. I have Irish credit cards not listed here but I have a plan for them. Delighted to be able to increase mortgage deposit savings from €800 to €1000 per month too. I have bought a lot of Xmas presents so am hoping that November and December I will need a very slim present budget. This money can go towards food shopping and nights out in December, which are always over budget. I have availed of the Tesco wine deals and have a good bit of wine stashed for Xmas. Need to remember to try and order some alcohol each week to prepare for Xmas. My family are coming to my house this year.

Amazing weight loss, I need to lose a stone, so will investigate SW, as it's clearly a good way of eating.

Your house buying plans and the debt slaying are inspirational, amazing consistency. Well done!
