Forgot to post last week. I lost another 1.5lbs so albs to target. Can't quite believe it myself
I'm thrilled!
In other news I am just utterly fed up. Have had a horrible week and I know it pales in comparison to real problems but I'm just feeling ugh
Heating went on Friday so stuck in a freezing cold house. Supposed to be fixed tonight but we had a horrible weekend. Went to make soup last week and the blender broke, can't afford a new one. And the soup was rank. Left the roast in the slow cooker yesterday and turned it off by mistake so dinner was hours later than planned. Was bing MSE and changed phone/mobile/broadband/TV. New people have been a nightmare. Have not turned up 2 days and I've had to cancel the entire thing.
We've been to view a house we like and looks like we won't be mortgage approved because of a bank withdrawal I made from the savings 7 months ago.
So I'm well and truly p*ssed off
Oh and my PMT is horrendous this month.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I thought once we had 6 months continuous savings it would be enough. But apparently not. It's so strict over here. It's gone from one extreme to the other 😢Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Not sure Abba. Broker wants to try a couple of banks before we call it a day. Hope it's not another 6 months 😓Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Have some dodgy hugs CMD :grouphug: that smilie always makes me smile as it looks so dodgy.
Can't believe you may not get a mortgage due to a withdrawal 7 months ago! How ridiculous. Hope he was just a jobsworth and other banks will be more understandingGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Hi Star,
Thanks for the dodgy hugs. Love them!
Apparently they want to see 12 months savings with no withdrawals at all. Totally unrealistic I think. I thought it was 6 months straight savings. The broker has applied to 2 banks, said it can take up to 10 working days. I am frustrated beyond belief.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Oh no that's an awfully long time not to have a withdrawal as life is a bit unpredictable at times I would have thought that they would be glad to see you're not putting yourself in to debt by using some forms of credit xx
Fingers crossed for you xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -

That's the thing Abba. We do have a couple of credit cards that we are working hard to clear. They don't seem half as bothered by them. It baffles me reallyTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Feeling a bit better today. I seem to be getting worse PMT the older I get. Broker submitted mortgage application to 2 banks and said 'we'll see' so not sure what to make of that. But it is out of my control now so there's not much I can do.
Am keeping my fingers crossed that OH gets a decent bonus in Dec so I can put some towards the house deposit and also towards the credit cards.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
