Forgot to post in here last week. I achieved my target weigh at Slimming World last Thursday. I was delighted and have eaten what I want for the last week so need to rein it in again now as I don't want to undo all the hard work.
House wise - everything seems to be ticking along like it should. We have a move in date of the end of February so a lot of time to go yet, which is a good thing, as we need to save the legal costs.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Morning
Tired today . Have had a few social nights out and it's beginning to take its toll on my waistline and purse. We are bringing the kids to see Santa this weekend and staying overnight. My sister and her family and my parents are coming too. The kids are so excited about staying in a hotel and going swimming! Need to get them booked into swimming lessons after Christmas!
The house sale seems to be plodding along with no issues so far (touch wood). I'd love if it just went through smoothly as sometimes I think I attract unnecessary drama when all I want is the quiet life. I've been mentally decorating each room but trying not to get too excited in case something happens.
My brother is home from Oz at the moment so lots of nights out with him, trying to make the most of his visit. We want out last week as a family (no partners) for the first time in about 15 years I'd say. We had such a good night, lots of childhood memories and stories. It was lovely.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Plod plod plod. Waiting for OH to get paid on the 23rd. It's probably a good thing that he gets paid so close to his normal pay day, as January would be such a long month otherwise. He was meant to get a bonus but this isn't happening until January. I was counting on that towards our legal fees so I hope it's a decent one. Again, it's probably a good thing that it isn't available to us over Christmas! Ha ha ha
Santa is all sorted here, just got the last thing this morning. Need to wrap it and we are ready for the big man. Went to the Panto with the kids at the weekend. It was frickin hilarious. Used my Tesco vouchers after for a meal in Milano so only cost me €20 with the alcohol and kids drinks.
OH is finished up today and can't wait for a long, lazy Christmas. For the first time in about 15 years we aren't going anywhere. We have started to pack up out stuff and do a serious declutter. Very proud of OH. He has donated loads of his (heavy and take up loads of space) books to charity. Need him to take them up to the charity shop tomorrow. I am determined we don't bring a load of clutter to the new house.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
