Although my sig hasn't changed I am plugging away behind the scenes trying to save money!
The house stuff will likely cost around 1000 euro so rather than putting that amount away this month I have it sitting in my bank account ready to pay the estate agent. Can't wait for the flat to go on the market. I am getting impatient now!
DD was sick yesterday and my mother minded both children. I didn't know what to do re: payment of the childminder so I just gave her the full amount for the 2 days today.
We won't know ourselves when they are both in school and the childcare costs go down!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I know what you mean about the childcare costs. I can't wait till September when we will be saving as Poppy gets 15 hours free a week. Then when we have another we will have the nursery costs all over again but Poppy will be at school then.0

Max got his free year this year so next year I will have to pay, plus Evie will be 2 days at pre-school, plus the childminder. 2014/2015 will be my expensive school year. After that though, Evie will be in her free year and Max will be at school so just after school costs.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Just minimum payments again this month. I am estimating that once I get to April I will start to make more dents into the debt. At the moment though, my eye is on getting below 13k. I think I will get below it by the end of April. Savings are coming along nicely, although it doesn't reflect in my sig, because I am putting money aside for the estate agent costs, rather than using my credit card for it.
Had to give the estate agents a bit of a kick today as they weren't really communicating with me, so apparently the house report is being undertaken tomorrow. I just want to get the flat on the market now.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
